Graniteone
Sweet! I like the long rides... just did 40 miles this morning on the MSX. We have some excellent dedicated bike paths all around the Denver / Colorado Front Range.
Rama Douglas
Los Angeles riders! Where are you?!? LA EUC Games registrants are mostly from out of town!!! That's great and all, but we need to really come together for this event on our home turf! Maybe you haven't yet heard about it? Anyhow, the inaugural LA EUC Games is happening on October 26th at the Encino Velodrome. Please check out the website and register ASAP as we're capping the number of riders at 40. We're almost half way there with only a few LA riders signed up thus far. Also, if you're not up for or interested in the competitions, for example if you're new to EUC, we still want to have you there for a glorious day of festivities and fun! So please volunteer and hang out and help with the event, supporting our growing sport (addiction 😜). Should people interested in participating/hanging-out/volunteering but probably not competing still register as a 'rider' at: https://www.laeucgames.com/new-page ? Or just for a 'spectator ticket' at: https://www.eventbrite.com/e/los-angeles-electric-unicycle-games-tickets-65375958251 ? Will spectator tickets still be able to bring wheels and hang-out/ride around/test each others' wheels at the event, or will spectator tickets be relegated to the bleachers completely cut off from the riders? Very good questions. Hopefully Rama can add some clarification (maybe clarify this on the website too - a FAQ section would be good to address these kind of questions).

Best thing in this case is to register as a volunteer on the website. Then, pick a role to help out with. That way, one can avoid the spectators ticket cost. The inner area will be open only for competing riders and their wheels during the competitions, also for the volunteers whose roles require being on the track, however, we should have some downtime when we'll allow the public in for a bit to mingle on the track with the riders. For liability reasons, only competitors and volunteers will be allowed on the track areas during the event. However, spectators are free to bring PEVs and can ride around in the large parking areas up top...hope that answers your question...😎 2

FlyboyEUC
@Rama Douglas There is no limit to how many spectators want to come right? They just have to pay for a spectator ticket?

They just have to pay for a spectator ticket? Within reason, of course! The track owners have told me they've had up to 300 spectators there for previous bike races...😎 So we should be fine! Yeah man bring the brigade! And yes, tell them to simply purchase a spectator ticket. I need to add to the website that kids under 15 can get in free with a parent or guardian in case you have any young fans... 4
Popular Post OUNCESMUSIC
For a while since owning an EUC, I've been wanting to visit/vaca California so this will be a great opportunity to tour and enjoy the Inaugural LA EUC Games. I've registered for every event... ...so watch out now! Just looking at flights and where to stay that gives me optimal access to any nearby sites/shops/food-spots, any group rides, and the main event site. Can't' wait. Thank you all involved for making this event happen. 4

All Marty's group rides will be all over the area, so no one place to stay will be much easier to get to the rides from opposed to another spot. I'd stay where interests you... Happy to have you on board! 😎👽💜 3
