Popular Post Rama Douglas
I would like to say a BIG thank you to our sponsors. Without the help of these amazing humans, we wouldn't be able to put this event on. Grateful for you and your contribution$: @Jason McNeil and @Rehab1 Also thank you to all of you who have registered/volunteered! We still have around 12 slots open for riders and need to fill a host of volunteer roles. Super excited about the LA EUC Games and can't wait to see all of you in October! If anyone wants to contribute further to the cau$e, please reach out! Blessings~ Edited July 30, 2019 by Rama Douglas

Celt26
Hey guys, I'm going to be volunteering at the event and it was brought to my attention that I can possibly have someone take my wheel down since I plan on flying down. Is anyone driving from Seattle down to LA to the games that wouldn't mind bring my KS 18XL along with them :)? The baggage policy sets dimension and weight limits and prohibits hoverboards, credit cards, and similar items. They call 'em like they see 'em. https://www.amtrak.com/onboard/baggage-policy/baggage-prohibited-items.html It is surely the opinion of this august Forum that a unicycle is not similar to either a hoverboard or a credit card. But please let us know how it goes.

Johnny Rocket 98908
If I were to stay at the Disneyland resort, does anyone know how I could get to the velodrome and back that day. @Flyboy, @Yellowman and @Freewheeler or other riders in the area? I am interested in Saturday only, thanks Edited August 13, 2019 by John Walden

I will say Disneyland is on the opposite side of Los Angeles from the Games so you've probably doubled your travel time relative to more central locations. As far as getting around, considering it's 2019, I would use Uber for everything.

This will be upwards of an hour to an hour and a half away from the games. I still don't know what I'm going to do the week of. I'll be driving up the day of from the Disneyland area (where I grew up) so I could give you a ride but I do not know how many days I will be participating the week of. It all depends on Marty's ride schedule. Edited August 13, 2019 by Flyboy10 3
Popular Post Rama Douglas
Great news! Inmotion USA has officially jumped on board as an LA EUC Games sponsor. They will have a booth space at the event focused on micro-mobility and will be bringing several V8s and V5Fs to demo and/or loan out to registered riders for the games...😎👽💜 Edited August 13, 2019 by Rama Douglas 6

edwin_rm
So, the only competition where you have to use the wheel that registered with is the race, correct? For others, such as Sumo for example, you can used a different wheel? Or do you have to use the wheel you registered for the entire event? For example: race with Nikola and sumo with mten3...

I don't think any of the competition is that formal. E.g., I did not register a wheel for the games. I'll probably bring a few for different purposes.

Bring em all, use em all...We don't even speak French! 😂 Just playing, maybe we do speak en peu Francais... Only reason we're asking for what wheel used for the Grand Prix race, is to group similar wheels together...
