Ballona Creek & Marvin Braude Trail Ride - 9/30

SoCal Friends,

Most of the rides tend to happen on the weekend but I usually get Monday & Tuesday off work.   Come join me and @Dave U as we ride from Culver City to the coast, down to Redondo Beach for a bite and brew at Barney's Beanery and then back up through Venice Beach, Santa Monica, and back to the Ballona Creek trail to Culver City.   We will meet at the parking lot for the Culver/Slauson Park.  The ride is at least 50 miles so be prepared with a 1600Wh+ wheel, or bring a charger as we can top off in Redondo Beach, approximately halfway.

I'm definitely in on this one!  Never been on this route before, always nice to ride and explore different trails.

That's a nice ride - love the beach runs.

Hey, do me a favor. If you can, see if Barney's Beanery would be receptive to a group having lunch and charging their wheels. One of the 7-days of riding is from Pacific Palisades to Redondo Beach and back. I was thinking of eating lunch at Kincades on the pier, but their charging is iffy.

So I'm open to finding a better location to refuel the body and wheel 

Have a good ride guys. Maybe next Monday or Tuesday we can do something - I still want to tackle Mt Baldy again (no rivers).

Hope you can join.  I’m sure you can convince Dave and I to stop again in Santa Monica is you need a second quick charge.

Eli, after your 60+ mile ride this coming Sunday you will be so eager to ride another 50+ ride the next morning (Monday). You will be rolling on 55 miles of So. Cal. coastlines/beach trails .

Eli, when we stop for fast charges, it just means we get another refreshment drink  and get to mingle as well .
