xorbe
I think the KS16X is more wheel than I want. I mean, I'll keep at it and figure it out, but is there a quality 14" wheel that feels like the MTen3? (ie, not so top heavy.) I can get the KS16X up and down the street alternating u-turns left and right, but eventually after a couple minutes I lose it. It takes so much more effort than the MTen3 it's not even funny. I just think to go forward and the MTen3 goes, it's so responsive. I don't get that feeling with the KS16X.

Ride it 500 miles first and then see how it compares. You will get used to it but it's not made to be similar to Mten3. EUC Custom Power-Pads
Since it is suspiciously quiet in the 1.0.7 update thread, maybe you should make it better known here.
pico
For those interested in the brushless motors that power our wheels. https://hobbyking.com/en_us/news/rewind-brushless-motors It may make things clearer or more obscure for some people. I must say that I rewound quite a few brushless motors 10 years ago to experiment on model aircrafts...

Yeah I simply grabbed a small wheel and 16" to dive head first into euc. It's a top notch wheel, so I'll at least master it before deciding to sell or not later. I'll put the MCM5 on my short list for next year.

(first level alarm, second level alarm, third level alarm) Speaking of which, what's that button slider at the top for with the Chinese characters? Not sure if anyone answered your question @CampDylan. The button at the top in Chinese characters says, "Die Western Scum. Engage Death Wobble." I believe the default is for it to be on. (On my Android app it says "Alarm vibration".)
Micheal Shen
Alarm vibration is to remind you via mobile phone vibration when speed reach the alarm speed you set in the App. A good remind.

I'm only at 200 miles according to KS App. My challenge now is hitting curbs during group rides (crashed twice) and getting use to riding in jeans (been riding in shorts all this time) and jeans feels weird by the ankles where I connect with the Kuji pads. On the last ride, I tried KS18XL. I couldn't get comfortable on it. I'm thinking it has a lot to do with muscle memory and you have to put in the time to own it. Here's a 30° dip at 25 mph. This is different than the rubbery band 5° dip you get at lower speeds. This is full on feeling like a free spinning hinge. Furthermore, the resistance lowers as speed increases. Note: if this is a feature, I'm not equipped atm to have faith and maintain that lean. I would need a track one-piece suit and track boots. I'll also like to stress this: I like this wheel. I'm only harping on this to let others be aware of and ride within the limitations of this wheel. Alright, I'm a believer now. Gave it another go on my commute this morning, on v1.07 firmware. I can do this without much difficulty when I am at 27-ish mph. It really is significantly different than the stiff springiness that occurs when you are pushing the wheel at lower speeds. It's suddenly much looser - like a hinge as Chris says here. That said, it did take real intention for me to do it. I've never experienced it in my typical riding. You definitely don't want to push hard accelerations when you are at speed, I imagine it would drop you. (And is has dropped some folks. But then again, I wouldn't do that with any wheel, it's not worth the risk of overlean.) I don't know if it can be attenuated with firmware tweaking, but I hope so. I still feel quite comfortable riding at 25mph. This indeed affects my confidence in its ability to keep me up if I were to hit a big bump or pothole when I am going really fast. But then again, I don't tend to go faster than 26mph unless I'm riding a smooth road that I am familiar with. I am still loving this thing!
Popular Post Mike Sacristan
I spent way too much time trying to flick the pedals when riding with my friend yesterday. Rode down to 25% battery and started trying to flick up an incline. All I got was a please decelerate. I am wary of hitting bumps and stuff like that at speeds around 45 kmh as I feel I am pushing it near it's max. My 3rd alarm is at 45 anyway so I know if I am hearing beeps I should also be extra cautious regarding what I am riding on. I pumped up the tyre a bit this morning though so everything just got twice as exciting. Way too much air in it now lol. I'll play around with that for a while though.
Popular Post EUC Custom Power-Pads
I did a short test ride with 1.0.7 and for me the throttling is now acceptable. Please decelerate came at 38-39 km/h and 25% battery (at slow acceleration)

How many miles did you get when reaching 70v? I'm glad they listened to us 👍👍 Did it seem better acceleration and smoother Edited October 1, 2019 by stephen
