@Marty BackeWhile Google'ing for location info on your last trail/prison gate adventure I came across a morbid crime story linked to Mt Baldy.

Those unused trails look deceivingly risky.

Great video... good luck with whatever you ride.

That's a relief. I thought it was going to be a story about murder on one of the trails

I was riding on a rail trail

Ride from Newburyport to Danvers/Salem

and came upon a 'herd' (12+) of dogs and mostly puppies led by a couple. Attempting to pass them one contacted the wheel, yelped and ran off a hundred feet down the trail. They (the couple) said the affected pup was ok as the herd surrounded me and licked my (salty?) hands-glove-wrist guards. Awful friendly and off leash.☹️ I'd thought about turning around and avoiding the bunch but should have dismounted and worked out a better way around them.

Surely I'm not the only rider to use the handrail when swinging around the sections of the pedestrian ramp. Here I go....

I do. it makes the turn easier and faster.

I read your prison story.  I'm going to put a quote from it on the "aren't my  dogs wonderful! Don't you just love them!" thread.  OK, so maybe that wasn't the title.

Not my video. Another convinced soul:D He even has a chart up how EUCS beat other PEVs in price for what you get.

Nice initial impressions of the EUC. Hopefully there will be more videos like this from newcomers. We need to spread the word.

Of course he gets some things wrong, but that's because he's a newbie. The one that bothers me the most is his perspective that the Onewheel is better at off-roading than the EUC. He's pulling that perspective out of his butt. As we know, EUCs are far superior to the Onewheel for riding trails and such.

Depends on what one means by offroading.

If we're talking loose sand or gravel, the Onewheel might be able to ride places a EUC will slip (except maybe the Z10). If we're simply talking uneven terrain, the bigger EUC tires are far superior. So yea, EUCs are better, you don't have to tell me;)

The V8 also isn't a wheel that screams offroading until you try it and notice it works surprisingly well. So maybe that's the reason for his opinion.

Hehe @Marty Backe in all fairness would you call a V8 an off-road EUC these days?

As for the tesla, I doubt he tested this yet.

I can't imagine what he would say if tested a KS18L/XL MSX or a fixed Nikola/ upcoming KS16X....

To me V8 works as a learner wheel, but as soon you realise the potential.... upgrade is bound to happen.... probably more than once😉

Just looking at your signature :whistling: would be fun to see what he would say to your garage/euc vault 😎

It's amazing how fast kids learn. J (11yo) tried out the MTen3 last year for a total of about an hour. At the end of this weekend camping, she was jumping over speed bumps. Brandon (6yo) has been riding the MTen3 for about 6 months. This weekend he learned how to sit/ride/jump the MCM5. He rides it like mini-motorcycle.

Love it. So now Brandon is taking over the MCM5. I think you need to get your order in for the Nikola. :)

Curious as to what kind of range Brandon would get on the MCM5...:confused1::w00t2:

When i (200lbs) ride the MCM5 800WH and he (49 lbs) rides the MTen3 512WH , he gets probably 30% more than me already. Since he has taken over my MCM5, I can now use him as an excuse to justify a Nikola.

With his weight and almost no drag from his tiny body, I would venture to guess 55-65 miles, easy!!
