meepmeepmayer
What an awesome wheel. Little neutron star Marty, be careful your cape doesn't get caught by the tire and sucked into the wheel well. Looked close at times. That might be an unexpected and nasty crash.
Gadgetfann
I wish they’d used a different color for the flashing lights. Blue flashing lights are illegal in most states for bicycles and motorized vehicles. https://www.supernovabikelight.com/statutes/
Popular Post fbhb
Kuji just posted a photo of his New street tire fitted to the Sherman! Looks like a nice beefy tread pattern, still trying to find out what the brand/size etc. is from him. Edit: Kuji has since confirmed it is a 14x2.75"(his words, but should read: 2.75-14 as per M/C tire specs) Kenda K340 he purchased in China Edited October 31, 2022 by fbhb

Popular Post FreeRide
Yes, unless you want unnecessary attention from the police, and possibly a citation (an unhappy person might even confiscate for a while), I would definitely say don't run the Blue Lights. It will also give people one more reason to file complaints even if you are being a respectful rider. Hopefully veteran changes this for the next batch. Since the light is external modding it might be pretty straight forward if the unit is not sealed up too tight.
null
Its a generic light one can buy on Ali, it was shared somewhere around here. If Veteran could get the producer to program white side LEDs for fixed "positioning light" for day time it would be nice, but considering the volume I doubt it. Mr A.A
The cape might be adding some drag and maybe using 1% battery, but its worth it. Looks damn cool. Someone was shouting Batman!! while Marty passed em.

The K340 is a motorcycle tire, which is labeled differently. It is 2.75 - 14.

RockyTop
The knobby tire is likely making the Veteran nimble on asphalt while the low pedals make it very controllable.

If it is OFF though you have no running lights, which is why it should be changed so you can still have a running light if desired., which is not the full headlight.

But running the full headlight may not be a problem with 3100wh, lol. Even Marty is having trouble running this thing out of juice.

Tap the Light button and the main light turns on. Tap again it turns off. With the main light on or off, press the Light button for a couple of seconds and the flasher comes on.

Popular Post .....
I'm thinking the sherman is looking like a dedicated street SUV. I am VERY looking forward to the durability and range of the thing. To me, Marty makes it look like a cruiser wheel, plain and simple. I was asking for a 45mph wheel with headroom, to keep me safe with small town traffic and roads... veteran delivered and is giving me enough range to get to a few nearby towns. It seems to WANT to go fast. I can see how this wheel may be my most dangerous yet, as it will provoke me to play among the cars on two lane highways between towns. I wouldnt fathom doing such an insane thing on a sub 45mph wheel. I keep stacking the odds against me, and this seems one of the most fun ways to go about it! *fwiw, I didnt notice the phallic reference until @Jon Stern said something. I was noticing how Marty looks like hes sold out to a billion sponsors, hence the patterns. Go figure, Jon is thinking about p**is and I'm thinking about $$. I think it's great weight and relative small size (compared to a Monster) makes it very stable and reassuring as you ride it. I thought it was going to be awkward kind of like the Monster is, but it turns out it's "closer" to the MSX in handling. The Gotway wheels can feel dense and massive, which is the Sherman. Nobody would describe Inmotion or KingSong wheels that way. If you're a big fan of KingSong and/or Inmotion than you probably won't like the Veteran all that much. thank you.
