I'm in the process of getting an additional full-face helmet that I can wear even when cruising down to my local store on a super-quick trip - something small and lightweight - probably without a visor. Within the last 6-months I have been changing my riding habits. I always wear knee pads and wrist guard. I wear my full-face helmet on most rides, however, around town for errands runs, I have often been wearing no helmet. I am determined to correct this and make my minimum gear for any ride be full-face helmet, knee pads, and wrist guards. This video doesn't show the aftermath, but it does show the accident. He was not going fast folks. He has lost all of his front teeth and will be needing bone grafts and reconstructive surgery on his jaw. Probably could have gone another 5-8 miles if I babied it. Big difference from the 58-62 miles I got going 20 mph. I have visions of hairline fractures on the pedal mounts and them just snapping off one day. I'm sure we've all seen BMX guys where the frame has basically snapped in half when they have been doing tricks and jumps. edit: and @Mike Sacristanneeds to tie Petra to a chair and make her watch the video of Anthony and his crash, and see the aftermath....it isn't pretty! She is a beautiful girl and I cringe every time I see her riding with no helmet. I'd imagine he has a 'junk' pile full of stuff.Suspension or not, when you overload the wheel past original design, stuff breaks all the time. At least with a non suspension wheel, he's less to fix, as Im sure he'll break those too. Who's designing a wheel with this guy in mind? I'm also very happy with mine and was able to successfully fit a Sena 3S-W Bluetooth Headset into it, with No Issues for use with EUC World voice announcements!
