Legend27
Hey everyone! Starting this thread because I was interested in how people store their EUC? I'll start off. Just made this stand. Time will tell how good it is. If it breaks, then I'll most likely just put it against the wall or make a new stand. Let the party of inspiration begin!
tessa25
I bought a 12x14x16 inch plyometric box and cut down the height before assembly.
Popular Post RockyTop
I made this box for my work van storage. the box is bolted down and has a 12 volt step up charger. The pedals rest on the ledge on the inside.
alcatraz
What stand? At the right angle an euc stays up. Just gotta practice the angle. It helps to have ankle pads that arent super slippery like bare plastic (but not necessary). The stickier the side, the less important the angle. I know this might sound hilarious to some but if practiced there isn't a place you can't park. Trains/subways/buses included.

It needs to lean far enough to stay put during transport. Edited October 14, 2019 by alcatraz

It needs to lean far enough to stay put during transport. It is very secure and does not move. The sides of the case have ledges that the entire bottom of the pedals sit on. The tire does not touch the bottom. The case itself is bolted down at bottom and top left. Also when the van door closes it fits to the case. The front edge is angled at about 10 degrees.

dmethvin
I made this one a few years back, this is my old 16-inch Firewheel in it at the time. Now it holds my KS14C.

Popular Post esaj
I just bought a < 10€ guitar stand from Thomann years ago. Old picture, beautifully covered KS16S in the front
Popular Post alcatraz
A stand requires you to lift the wheel. I don't understand how you keep doing that considering it's completely optional and unnecessary. I'd get tired of doing it after 3 times. I just lean my wheels against the wall. Popular Post Jeff Earl
Behold the amazing UniStand 3000 It's a composite of 1x2 lumber and 3D-printed connectors. You can download my stl flies from Thingiverse if you want to build one yourself. https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:3922352 Adjust the length of the wooden struts to suit the dimensions of your wheel. For the KS16X above I used six 6" sections of 1x2 and two 9-1/4" lengths for the lower cross-members.
Popular Post EUC Custom Power-Pads
Unfortunately not as planned with 4 stainless steel rods as center brace, because the wood immediately tears when pressing in. Therefore alternatively now with all wood. As soon as I have a multiplex wood panel as planned, the stainless steel version follows. Many thanks to @RoadRunner for the idea with the X. Definitely more fitting than 3 large round drilled circles.
Popular Post Circuitmage
Inspired, finally , to build my own stand. $5 worth of #10 2.5" screws , some scrap 2x4s , and leftover stain. 1.5 hrs later.... Shown in pictures; 1) using wood glue to hold blocks together, let sit overnight. 2) pre-drilled screw holes and countersink 3) 16 screws 4) stained wood. DONE!! alcatraz
ED209 and Tron come to mind as possible names for that euc. Or is it perhaps merely a travel case?

I like the simplicity of this approach, and have done this till now, however the wheels are staining the varnished wood floor (same with kickscooters) so yea, stand next.. alcatraz
Just put a small mat under. No stand needed. I've got a stone floor so I just mop it clean every few months and you can't tell a euc has ever been stored there several years.
