Popular Post Nick McCutcheon Posted November 18, 2019 Popular Post Posted November 18, 2019 I just ordered a 4-way guitar stand, it seems to work well! The metal arms bend down when any weight is applied to them, but all I need is for them to be present to hold the wheel in place. Heck, I'm sure if I ripped them off, the legs of the stand would still support the wheels. Here's where I got it. 4 Quote

Scubadragonsan Posted November 25, 2019 Posted November 25, 2019 I have found a bicycle stand (see below Amazon link) with a little modification, it can become a stand for almost any wheels. So far, I have used it with KS16, KS18S, KS18L, InMotion V10F, GotWay MSuper.... This stand comes with pre-drilled holes meant for bicycles with narrow tires. Its built is very solid. However, you can drill more holes wider apart into its bottom bars/legs to suit the size of your wheel. You can use it as storage stand. I use them in my car trunk to transport my wheels. They are stable and would be even more stable if you secure it with a bungee. I used to lie my wheels down flat during transport, but now I can stand them up, save trunk space and I find loading is easier too because I don't really have to reach forward in to my trunk to unload my wheels. https://www.amazon.com/Sunlite-Adjustable-Display-Stand-Black/dp/B00B136KQS/ref=sr_1_1?keywords=Sunlite+Adjustable+Display+Stand%2C+Black&qid=1574538464&s=home-garden&sr=1-1 Quote

It can lead to water running in odd places in the wheel. That is why I try to keep wheels upright at least 1 hour after riding. Even in the car. I store it behind my driver seat and rear seat fot area. 1 Quote

Popular Post Brendan "nog3" Halliday Posted December 4, 2019 Popular Post Posted December 4, 2019 Here's mine that I whipped up last night out of some scrap threaded rod, nuts and the diffuser acrylic from an old LCD monitor. I plan to add rubber feet and bumpers to the top so the wheel just slides in comfortably. I may or may not pimp it out with some animated leds that light up when the charger is active. 6 Quote

Popular Post Rehab1 Posted December 15, 2019 Popular Post Posted December 15, 2019 (edited) I finally found time to finish my EUC stands in my barn. I used car wheel hangers and bolted them to a 2x10 . I then added a shelf for the chargers and air pumps. Edited December 15, 2019 by Rehab1 11 Quote

alcatraz Posted December 20, 2019 Posted December 20, 2019 Looking good. Now we know what the kids in your neighborhood see in their nightmares. I bet that in a race between a mudguard and gene's tongue, the mudguard wins in cleanliness. 1 Quote

Here's the link to the stl: https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2817395 I'm printing on prusa mk3s but almost any printer would be capable. Yes there are 5 colors, but without the use of the MMU, in prusa slicer you can set places where printer will pause and ask for filament change. The gyroid infill was also set separetely for different colors, black and violet are 15%, white is 22 and the rest is 30, it cuts the print time by few hours. It's also nice to slow down the print and up the fun speed near the top of the arches and at the beginning of the orange part but it has to be done manually. No supports are needed. Ah and the material used is petg, I guess the pla with higher infill would also work. Here's my first print with msx on it 4 Quote

Didn't remember I had one of these in my basement. Fits perfect to my KS16S. It's even childproof and tested. Hope it would work with larger wheels like Nikola. Thanks for good idea.
