Popular Post erk1024
Lake Trail in West Palm Beach Last night I went for a ride on the Lake Trail--which is oddly named as there is no "lake" anywhere nearby. At 4.5 miles is not a long trail, but has twists and turns and you can't beat the scenery. I got the wheel up to 20mph in places, but that's a bit rude on a route like this. I had the trail to myself, and I slowed way, way down for pedestrians. It winds along along the intercoastal waterway in West Palm Beach, Florida. Here are a few snaps from my phone. You may just have to have some of the other inmates help you carve one out of a license plate for now then, since you just broke into prison... winterwheel
A shot of our demo setup from the community "Wheeling Alternatives" day. We basically spent three hours giving demonstrations and test rides to community members ranging in age from eight to whatever. For anyone else looking to do this kind of thing, the modified walker on the right side by the wagon was a huge hit as it allowed folks to gently ride without having to be connected to the rink wall. Boosted skateboards, electric bikes, and a bike repair tent were in other sections of the arena. Popular Post winterwheel
Above the Horse Thief Canyon on the Dinosaur Trail in Drumheller, Alberta. First serious (60km) ride on my new KS-18XL. Some very nice hill climbing on this ride, the wheel held up like a champ. This route is a paved road all the way that runs up and back along the river valley, with the occasional side trip to look at the sights.
