Please excuse my ignorance! Ah, you'd need a tire with a pretty darn flat profile to do that. I don't think such a tire would handle very well. A rounder profile is more nimble and fun =] (in my humble opinion, of course)

Circuitmage
The thing that sticks out for me on this (aside form the suspension bracket) is the tail light. Wow...nice. And that production video...sweet. Edited July 15, 2020 by Circuitmage

Popular Post Scottie888
Hey guys, just wanna give a shoutout here. I just jumped off the deep end joined the KingSong crew with an order of the S18. I already have a Tesla V2 1480ah to do longer rides cum city commuter/explorer duties. In another thread, I was advised (correctly I might add) to choose the Mten3 512 as a fun tricks parkour wheel to spend an afternoon in the park. While I was at it ordering the Mten3, I took another look at the S18 & boy o boy, did it remind me of my ex Ducati Monster S4R. After 15mins of hummin & haaa'in, the lil' voice inside (which I'm assuming its the Devil, atleast thats what I'm gonna say when wifey finds out) shouted out to me .... JUST DO IT! JUST DO IT! Being the weak man that I am, I easily caved. WTH in for a penny in for a pound! Now I'm all set to assault the backwoods & hills (hopefully I can come out alive or in one piece atleast). Can't wait

What makes you say its useless? Slightly "useless" (both the slightly and quotes are important) as in: You buy it for the fun and looks and novelty of having the best suspension (for the foreseeable future). As your only wheel or as a wheel with a dedicated "serious" purpose, you would probably get another ("more reasonable") model with more speed, range, power. To me, the S18 is a "you don't need it, but you sure want it" wheel. Like buying a sports car or something like that. Don't get me wrong, it's only a question of money why I'm not buying an S18, it's sweet.

A gas guzzler for sure, but its darn fun while it lasts for however long. Can't have too many sports cars or sport trucks! 😆

I am speaking for myself For quite a lot of my typical rides, the range wouldn't cut it (not by much, but notable). As a secondary commuting wheel I would definitely love an S18! It just wouldn't work as my only wheel. As it wouldn't for speed riders e.g. That's all I meant. Enjoy your commute, it seems perfect for that.

Now I'm thinking about just keeping my Z10 as a backup with the S18. Yaa honestly u do & I dare say most of us (if not all) do. There isn't one wheel that can do it all much like autos or bikes or even bicycles. Even though the S18 is mighty purrrty & reminds of my Duc, that isn't enough for me to pull the trigger. This is what convinced me..... I'm getting the S18 as an MTB equivalent. If I can keep up to 'em MTBs in the bike parks, trails &or even downhill, that would be fun. Did I say fun...I meant FUN! Suspension & comfort usually go hand in hand but I'm not looking for that. I'm want control! Control on jumps, ruts, rocks & control when I catch air & land! This is the only wheel ATM that comes close to competing with MTBs. So ya, we need a city commuter wheel & everyone needs an Mten3 just cos its so freaky awesome. Then those of us into MTBs need this S18.
