Popular Post Mango
What a gorgeous looking wheel. 22” means I don’t need to get rid of my Sherman or Master. Who would want to buy the Abrams or Monster Pro when this wheel has everything you need for a suspension, long range cruising wheel?
Mars Bless
I'm in. At $4k, it's right there with the other long range wheels and has suspension, if you want it. There's a pretty good buffer at 55mph to prevent one from having a high speed cut out. There's no reason to even buy a Abrams with this wheel being out.
Popular Post 2 Drinks Behind
Their focus on making this safer with redundancy and beefier components appeals to me. As does the size, power and suspension. I'm in.
techyiam
Which other PEV can you get 4500W continuous, 10 000W peak for $4000? And as an euc, it is less than 8" wide, with unprecedented safety features. That slider system with separate internal struts is innovative. UtahRider
Looks great but I have to see it in action before committing. If it has a real, great working suspension that won’t need crazy mods then I might get in on the preorder. Sure hope this goes better than their V12 launch. meepmeepmayer
Does anybody know an official website/official pictures/official anything (other than the video)? This video had surprisingly little new information other than confirming the looks and suspension, and giving the price and weight. When can you buy it?

I think Inmotion has made some inroads towards mitigating costs, and reduce downtime. The suspension can actually be converted to non suspension, and all the mosfets are on a separate dedicated board. Should there be issues with the mosfets, I think that it may be a lot less costly to replace, then what had to be done with the V12. Suspension can be converted so the owner can still ride while waiting for parts. Edited August 11, 2022 by techyiam
Mars Bless
You know that's one thing I was thinking of. When can you buy it and when will they be shipping. Hopefully some info is coming soon on that front
Popular Post Tawpie
The bar for long wait has been set... well, it's still being set because I still don't have an S22 tracking number from eWheels and it has been (basically) one full calendar year. Surely IM can do better than that. 2

I were told they would sell it as non-suspension wheel with upgrade kit. But I guess feedback from different places changed this.

Popular Post meepmeepmayer
Short comment about the charging: it has two charge ports, and each port can do 7A max. So that's where their 14A/1764W=14A*126V charging number seems to come from. In principle, any wheel with two GX20 charge ports can do the same. Also, here's the official source for the top speed: a Youtube live chat comment 90kph = 56mph Same for weight: Edited August 11, 2022 by meepmeepmayer weight added 4 1

I wonder if 110 lbs is enough to help fight the crosswinds or turbulence at the higher speeds? Maybe riders have to start thinking about aerodynamic aids, in addition to motorcycle grade or higher safety gear. Popular Post Unbihexium
The price is pretty much what I expected so I expect I will buy this wheel. Kinda scared to go for that guinea pig pricing, but $600 is $600 and will probably cover my copay for any medical expenses (hopefully). 2
Nick McCutcheon
A lot of you will think I'm crazy, but I can already travel at 90km/h on my (newly P42A) Master. I've even hit 94km/h downhill. But, there is a real safety difference between the Master and V13 at these speeds. I upped by power alarm from 80% PWM/load to 85% PWM/load and I always hit it at these speeds, whereas the V13 could do it easily. I feel like it would be a waste of all the engineering IM put into this wheel only to cap it to well below what it's capable of. The high price of this wheel is tough for me to justify at this speed, but if they allow 100km/h, I'm getting it right away.
That Guy
I have to say, although I am quite impressed with the V13, its weight is a deal breaker for me. I wouldn't mind a higher price, like even if it was towards $6k provided it would be an amazing product. But boy, 50kg!... It's kinda defeating the purpose of having an EUC in my user case of long semi-urban commute, sadly... 1
techyiam
On 7/27/2022 at 5:10 AM, techyiam said: The latter seems plausible because at the bottom of the sliders are two knobs. Perhaps one is a valve for adding or removing air in the air spring, and the other is for rebound damping adjustments? On 7/27/2022 at 11:02 AM, mrelwood said: A rebound adjustment next to a thin shock tube doesn't make much sense though. Having a remote adjustment like that would be rather challenging to manufacture, and prone to failures even from a small kiss from a rock. Since the adjustment is often fixed at the other end of the tube, why not put it there? It would be easier to adjust as well. Besides, neither of the circles at the bottom are at the center of the possible vertical air shock, which would make even the main valve a bit of a nightmare to manufacture. My guess is that they are related to a pedal height adjustment. It is interesting that Inmotion decided to further develop their V11 suspension design when they jumped from one generation to the next, unlike Kingsong. Kingsong went with a completely different design when they moved from the S18 to the S22. Edited August 12, 2022 by techyiam
