this is otw. after today's ride on the s22 90 tire, i think i'll do the original v13 first. it needs it's slimed tire off anyway, and if i don't like the 90 fit, i'll change to a new tubeless pilot street 2 on hand in 80/90.

but i'm afraid after todays riding, i might have lots of leftover tires. this 90 city grip2 is pretty awesome. very grippy. nice soft compound but fast profile. very carvy.

euc girl weighing maybe 100 pounds all suited up, and the wheel weighing 120, and the tire loading of 430 pounds, she's probably running it at 25psi, or less off road and it might be wider, idk. seems like it will clear without shaving. i'll know soon. excited to try a new tire.

the stock knobby on the v13 is quite good. i'll probably leave one stock because the knobby and the v13 will be better in wet grass should i need to venture out in the wet. i'm not even gonna think about it with the s22's.

this is the main problem with the v13 and all other wheels except the s22. pedal hanger in the middle of the wheel. look at where my shoes are at the end of my 5 mile ride.

Might be that its due to the V13 being (apparenty) particularly heavy to "get going" though, I need the pedals centered so I can brake in traffic :)

Maybe you should try the angle forward a few degrees. Or (im going to be sorry i said this) use the acceleration and braking assist if you are having trouble getting it going. I weigh 200 and i can stop and start on hills no problem with my feet centered.

i got this uploaded. no music. better idea of how hard the v13 is working to go over raw land.

this isn't roads, or trails, or groomed paths by man, this is what the earth looks like, untouched by man.

where do u ride on raw land?

and this is padless as well. no toe stops, nothing. just driving with the bottoms of my feet, why i guess i'll have to invent pedal extenders for the v13. king song isn't that stupid. theirs are adjustable. another feature of the lynx i don't like is the dihedral of their pedals. knock knee marty loves it, bow legged duf doesn't. i'm somewhere in the middle, but i like a more flat pedal because if u notice in the shadows, my legs aren't on the wheel.

this is 200psi on the shocks, damper completely off, turned counterclockwise, 35 psi on the stock knobby. 4th 5 miler of the day.

just watched it and that's as good of an upload i can do using the iphone. but the sound is fine and that clicking u hear is the v13 suspension working.

ankle cam don't lie. very objective. s22 pro with 900 pound spring and michelin 90 wide tire at 35 psi coming soon as soon as utube finishes.

best way i can describe this terrain is stairs laid horizontally and occasionally missing a tread or two.

when i was digging post holes on the hill, one spot the hole diggers just dropped into the hole like it was bottomless. maybe gopher tortoise burrows.

we've had the same problem forever as cowboys. if ur running after a cow, and ur horse steps in a gopher hole or any depression, if u don't know what ur doing, u will likely die. i like horses but wheels are cheaper and less maintenance.

u know, i do this same ride at night. might be more dramatic with the headlight.

i weigh about 170 now. if i had a big beer belly, i'd have enough forward bias built in. but i'm pretty trim now and have size 12 feet. and i don't use any assists ever. not a big deal on pavement, s22 was horrible too out of the box. i can't magically move my weight, i can only rock between the balls and heels of my feet. the big toe is a big part of controlling the wheel for me, and mine is hanging out in air.

i have already talked to hou ningning about making pedal hangers one inch down and one inch forward, and if i can't design and build something, i'll get hou to build them. having done it on the s22, i know the potential the v13 has if utilized.

hou ningning is building me 70mm pedal drops and 40mm move forward hangers.

if they work, i think they'll really liven up the v13's. esp with the 90/80 city grip 2 on them.

about ten days he says.

i figure even dropping 70mm to clear the battery cases, the pedals will be higher than the suspension delete kit puts them at. this is wrongway.

not just me. all euc manufacturers hang the pedals in the center.

here's euc girl. and this is on the supposedly torque monster v14!

fun video showing the power and acceleration of the v13 vs master pro.

I had a v13 and a stock master pro. The master pro has way more torque and is more responsive than the V13. I seriously regretted getting a V13 after selling my ex30...
