Good evening,

Before leaving for the day, we wanted to share a few of the updates on the Abrams:
- Tubeless knobby, a first on any Wheel!

- Studded pedals come as standard

- 3,500W motor with greater torque than the Sherman

- Equivalent, or slightly higher, max speed

- Improved water protection

- Significantly higher pedal/rollbar clearance

- Higher current charging support

- The tentative price is $3,499

Veteran is working to get a Wheel out to Kuji for review in the next few weeks. We'll continue to keep everyone updated as information becomes available.

Have a wonderful weekend,

Jason

adding on to that, couple new photos to share one of them being a specs sheet. Sadly it looks like the abrams is listed as a 100v wheel...

Correct me if I'm wrong but Kuji hasn't done a video in over six months, I believe. Is he still around?

He rode the begode hero for their promo. He feels like he's had less skin in the game for the last year or so, but still clearly has pull with both the community and the manufacturers when he wants.

Look at the lack of spokes. This suggests a much larger motor than anything before.

So the real-world photos have spokes and the spec sheet indicates 100V.

I'm curious what differences they've made to the 3500W motor compared to the Sherman's 2500W motor?
I would guess a torque-based motor coil winding (maybe C38)?  Perhaps they've also been able to squeeze in wider magnets despite the same motor width?
A torque-based winding would be the simplest solution with the increased tire diameter accounting for maintaining a similar top-speed to the Sherman.

yes, c38 motor with a 22' has a similar free spin speed of a c30 with a 19'
