You can break your neck from day one I think the MSuper X can go faster than 98% of people will ever want to ride.

diegoxxx
I have never used 19 inches but 16 very quickly or is it a normal quake wheel problem between my legs.

Like said above, just relax ur legs, don't squeeze them hard against the wheel. The wheel actually rides better 99% of the time when u don't squeeze and instead just let the wheel float between ur legs.

Although on a serious note, I ride fast at times but always heed the last warning and of course must ride using common sense + never put pedestrians at any risk they did not ask for. I think wheel will be all I need speed wise, would be nice with a bit of safety margin too so that my cursing speed is not too close to top speed, looking forward to that.
Popular Post Xoltri
Well I plunked down the dough for the 1600wh version at eWheels today. Should have it mid to end of next month. 5
borsuke
I am about to buy this MSuper X awesome machine :) Currently I am having KingSong 16s. I feel like I need slightly higher top speed and a bit more comfort and a better range. Half of my everyday journey to work (10 km one way) is a road where I can go quick. Another half is full of pedestrians that I need to be careful about. I like in the 16s that I can stop quite quickly in case something happens. Week ago I had a chance to test the new KingSong 18L. It is a nice wheel but I was quite disappointed about the stopping distance and acceleration. In fact it was slow so much that I fall of the wheel twice leaning to much before I have learned that I can not stop that quickly. When we compared the stopping distance the 18L needed double the distnace to stop! When we changed the 18L from hard mode to the soft mode the difference was not that significant but the 18L was still not as good as 16s at stopping. Anyone here knows if Monster X will stop slower or faster then my KS16s? Thanks in advance for all your input. It's a great forum! 2

Mark Lee
I too received the golden email from Jason. I can't believe it, since my preorder was so late. I pulled the trigger on 1600Wh. Thanks to glowing reviews on Z10 and KS18L, guess people are having hard time deciding on which to buy. When anti Gotway @mrelwood ordered one, I'm sure I am in with good company. ✌️ Edited June 20, 2018 by Mark Lee

I can tell you that the 16 inch wheels are the best size (my opinion) for handling, speed, acceleration, stopping, basically everything... I find it challenging to ride the 18S most of the time because I like the "sporty" feel of the smaller wheels... My best advice is to try to understand that a 18" or bigger wheel is like a truck and best for commuting in comfort, distance and speed (sitting down as well). If you want more sporty, than 16" is the size... I also find the 16S lacking in speed a little (I think 25 mph would be perfect) and a bigger battery would make it Ideal... My hope is that the Tesla will come out with a 1300 battery, then I would have everything perfect for my all purpose wheel... I like the 18S for what it is and will not sell it, it serves the purpose it was designed for... The MCM5 I have coming is the real sports car I am wanting (14").. like a Supercharged Mazda Miata I hope ... looks like @Marty Backe is loving his... 2

Popular Post eddiemoy
2 minutes ago, joku said: I was referring to the post by @borsuke In my testing between the V10F and 18S, the stopping from 15mph down to zero was about 19ft. But for some reason the V10F felt slower because when I initially was stopping with the V10F, I got 25ft instead of 19ft much later on when I got more used to trying to stop it harder. Learning to trust it more on the edge of over leaning backwards. I was able to consistently get better stopping distance with my KS16, non S. I was able to get 16-17ft. When looking at the app, someone mention the app isn't reporting things correctly or something to that effect which I don't understand, but what I did notice was the KS16 was doing negative 20amps during my stops and the KS18S, I was only able to see up to negative 10amps. not sure if it was because I couldn't generate enough back pressure or what. But that is the result of my testing when I thought the V10F was bad at stopping. So long story short, I think he is correct, the KS16S probably feels a little better slowing down than the 18L. I think the bigger the wheel diameter the slower it is to accelerate and decelerate. I don't have the 18L yet to test, but when I was riding it in the group ride, it felt similar to the 18S but more nimble. Which I love. Take it for what it is a feeling. I'll have the wheel in a few weeks to test and can give you more of a definite answer. But in the mean time, seems like Inmotion is addressing some acceleration issues in firmware. 3

I don't know where that came from, but that is pure bullshit. If that were the case, I would not even ride their product. I'm a safety biased guy. Just so happens that GW screwed themselves by releasing unsafe products and hence their reputation. I would push their product if it was good. But I think I have a duty to warn people if they are buying into a product that has a failure rate of 15%. That isn't my number, it is Jason's number a popular seller of all wheels. I like KS because they make safer wheels (fact, based on failure rates from Jason), they ride better (that is my opinion), they are designed better (my opinion, and if you look at the inside, you would probably agree). Sorry @Acturbo, I'll stop bashing them when they get their rep out of the gutter. 2
Tbx Nicolas
The new seat doesn't stay in place at hight speed or when you hit bumps, but it has a better design and is more confortable. However the Kingsong 18 seat remains the best for quality and comfort. 1

From a 17.5kg 16”x2.125” to a 23.5kg 18”x3”, yes, it can never be as snappy from the get go. But almost any wheel can be learned into. All the power is there, you just might have to ask/demand for it instead of just thinking about it like with the 16S. That said, to me the old Msuper v3 didn’t feel nearly as stiff and sleepy than the V10F. And since V10F and 18L are said to share a lot regarding handling, I do think/wish the Ms X will feel more alert. 4 hours ago, Mark Lee said: When anti Gotway @mrelwood ordered one, I'm sure I am in with good company. ✌️ Haha! Wouldn’t bet on that last part... ? I plan on doing a thorough internal examining on the X before I even hop on. And of course wear all protection before even putting my foot on it. I am quite afraid of it being a Gotway.
