kinda curious why you want to put pads on the top? I mean, the ”saddle” part on the top is padding, so essentially you putting more padding on top of padding? (paddingception?!)

Not for more padding,,,, more at each end of the padding for better leverage so it's got a more prominent curve to push against for accelerating and braking

hmmm... OK. I've seen the emergence breaking technique for EUC, by gripping the wheel tightly between your legs and kinda do a little twist backwards. 

But honestly don't think that's required unless you are riding above 40km/h. While it seems like the v11 is quite torque-ky, it reminds to be seen how quick it can go under real world riding condition.

I disagree. Emergency braking is important at all speeds. Even when you are cruising "slowly" at 20 km/h, something can suddenly appear in front of you (a kid running out from behind a bush, a driver that didn't look around...) And then you need to stop or at least shed the speed as quick as possible - don't forget you have an almost-30-kg heavy ankle breaker . The twist brings a risk of turning into something, so anything that allows for a better transfer of weight backwards helps.

V11 upgrades and changes so far 👍👍 i didn't know they have changed the pedal angle as well as raised it slightly 😊

And a few moments ago Liam confirmed first batch ships with CYT C1488 tire. 

I am not a tire specialist so I don't know if this is good or bad. But it is a tire used on many wheels.

This is a bit funny as I think it is pretty cool looking. But I guess that is how it works with many things fortunately 😉.

I have a brand new h666 tyre i got for the msx i wonder if that would fit and how much of a pain it is to change if needed 😬

It will fit! Inmotion tested the H-666 on the V11 extensively, but as far as I know they didn’t like the turning/carving behavior as much.

I thought I was the only one who thought it is butt ugly, to me it looks like a wardrobe on a wheel.

I much prefer the look of the S18 but that wheel loses on it's range potential.

If i was going for looks it would be the s18 but for range and torque and quality build its got to be the V11

Yea it seems like the S18 has a few niggly little faults, it kinda looks like their quality control isn't great.
