V12, V20 and VX are all tags we have seen before in the Inmotion postings, so it is possible it’s there for just giving greater visibility. Just like the ”Inmtoion” tag... But that would indeed be a great place for them to introduce the new 18-incher! I’ll be waiting eagerly.

It is assumed that this v12 will be in 18 "and with 1600wh battery in addition to suspension. Are those rumors?

Inmotion didn't give out any specifics yet. other that a V12 and V15  are in the works. One is a 16 another is a 18-like wheel. There had been talks about suspension. I have summed up this in 7 jan announcment that was suppoed to be launch date, that got prosponed.

If at the launch of day 7 they planned to present the suspensions, surely this was what caused the delay, I imagine that the dynamic behavior of a wheel with suspension should be complex to program.

This is how most companies do... They don't leak details until they are ready. 

Representative from Inmotion stated launch event in April and another later in October. Then you need to consider many companies have been closed down due to the virus. 

I doubt we will see much details until Inmotion hold their launch event.

I got interested and tried to brighten it up and thats it. From what i see i can assume, the the product may have some sort of leather imitation pads on the sides. There is the new scorpio-handle on top, also.

Its the same side, just a bit lower backwards. Looks a bit more extended in the tail than previous V series

 

Also, there are no sign of "leather" texture on second image so it might be just the jpeg artifacts play.

I just realized, it looks an awful lot like there is a separate outer shell with enough clearance for suspension travel! The tail light is a part of the inner shell that isn’t suspensioned, just the tortoise-like upper shell moves up and down. And pedals are of course attached to the outer tortoise shell.

The teaser images are starting to look really cool! Me wantsies!

Is that a proper back light?! "Automobile level" is exactly what I needed to hear!! And with a proper mudguard! 

If the rest of the wheel is such an improvement to the current state of things, this will be killer. Finally someone considers what the point of the various wheel parts is in the first place! Took only 5 years

The speed given of 55kmh is wish thinking. Inmotion representative said 50kmh repeated a few times yesterday. 

There are things that are confirmed yet not detailed specified. For whatever silly reason imho, many on WhatsApp Inmotion chat group (repeated mouthing GW) cried out for high speeds. I just hope Inmotion doesn't do a KS KS16X release setti g speed the design might handle but not in all conditions  

To me these same people are missing the full scale of Inmotion achievement if this suspension system  is safe at those speed. It all comes down to how the feel of the ride is. 

This is something that the first wave of reviews will tell us. Inmotion confirmed they will be some sort of demo like we seen before. But first they need to inspect first prototype batch

Test expected to appear early May. 

Nevertheless I am petty stoked about this new wheel. But this time I am not going to be 1st batch buyer (I think).....time will tell. 

It it wasn't for this side effect of the covid-19 to economy I would have sold my car by the next month....now I am waiting to see what happens. 

But Friday shall be interesting after all. I think this is truly next gen wheels.
