I just saw in several news channels that US passed China in recorded infected people. 

I can only say I am grateful I don't like in New York these days. 

It just shows to me you can't think of your country only. We all live in a global world. 

It is not that Sweden is in hard lockdown but it seems the balanced lockdown has worked to some degree. As for the US it seems government/president didn't take the signs seriously enough. I just wonder where Trump put his blame finger and how he will solve this now. Firing people or...this isn't a tv show.

I just can't help wondering if all of this will be a good or bad thing going forward for EUCs. 

But I can only say now that I hope you and your families comes out on the other side as good as it is possible. There will be long term effects after this both good and bad. In that I have no doubt. 

So next week I will work from home and the week after. Properly even longer. 

In the mean time I had the luck not being affected like being sent home without pay or getting fired....yet. So I decided that things can't stop. 

Ordered a new TSG Pass carbon helmet while they are still in sale(at a discount) and a new mc suit 2020 spring collection. 

I were going to sell my car, going all-in on EUC, but this I put on hold until economic is looking better. The past 5 months I driven about 750km in the car. Or over 2.5 year about 10000km in total. So it simply can't be justified to pay like 600€ a month in payoff on loan(400€)  and running cost in total. It cost me like 36000€ in Oct 2017. Car economy is different from country to country and even regions. 

In comparison I have ridden more that 4000km on my EUCs in a 2 year time span.

Damn them Democrats! What Blasio's tweeting is despicable! That why I use my common sense when reading anything: There are virus outbreak throughout the world, maybe I shouldn't go out watching "The Traitor" in crowded places.

Some disturbing opinions for sure...

Trump definitely does embody the opinion of a lot of religious people. They speak and act like they know more than they do, they give opinions on things they are clueless about.....and they believe blind faith will lead them down some magical path that others supposedly can't see. Really they have no idea what anything is and they are following the words that men made up centuries ago in a time where slavery, racism, and raping were allowed (and in some scriptures/societies encouraged).

Please do ignorantly go to church and other religious functions spread it among your fellow sheep, but stay far away from me. At the hands of something your mind can't comprehend, meet your maker as you believe (though from what I've seen in life it's probably the devil for how most religious hypocrites live and treat others). There are higher chances of winning the lottery than your particular religion being correct (and even less of a chance that Trump is right about anything that comes out of his mouth)

I guess for how advanced and civilized we've become as humans I expect more of our kind. Truly disappointing sometimes.

It is actually quite easy: when this is all over in a year or two and we all start rebuilding our lives and our economies together in the years that follow, it will become obvious, which governments and leaders did good for their people and who did not. Time will tell, so there is no necessity to determine anything. Again: I am not pushing any political or religious or ideological agenda here. Just stating my humble opinion. If people don’t agree with me, I am perfectly alright with that. Everyone including me, we all live in our own reality bubbles. There is not one truth, but only different views of what seems to be reality.

Yes, but did you check their analyses? - From that paper:

"Theories of SARS-CoV-2 origins. It is improbable that SARS-CoV-2 emerged through laboratory manipulation of a related SARS-CoV-like coronavirus." That's speculation, far from proof.

"Instead, we propose two scenarios that can plausibly explain the origin of SARS-CoV-2:..." that's one scenario too many, i.e. they are not sure what the real origin was and just list some plausible scenarios.

"However, the genetic data irrefutably show that SARS-CoV-2 is not derived from any previously used virus backbone." They actually say SARS-CoV-2 cannot be derived from ONLY ONE previously known virus, but it very well could be spliced together from parts of two or more other viruses. Those hypothetical splice sites are actually well known by now.

"Although the evidence shows that SARS-CoV-2 is not a purposefully manipulated virus, it is currently impossible to prove or disprove the other theories of its origin described here. Again that's not evidence, that is mere speculation.
