Are you going to say a street bike has better worse tires than a mountain bike? If they were both built for off road, then yes, fair comparison. 2,4,12) They came out with the App much later than the product. I call that a fail. The KS app is bad, but you can use other apps like darkness. The best app is Ninebot that is why Gotway copied them. 3) 2k vs 1.2k, power doesn't mean it feels better. maybe there is a reason the KS is limited to only 35kmph. Maybe it has the same torque, we don't have any idea how the motors are built so the power figure is useless. The KS16S feels fine, doesn't feel primative at all. the Ninebot does. 5) don't need or want this feature. There is a on off switch. I can do it with one hand. 6) haven't heard it side by side, but ok. 7) haven't had any issues with the thinness of the KS, Gotway on the other hand is unacceptably wide to me, then maybe Gotway is primitive? 8 ) again, think it was built for different things. the ks16 is fine for what is built for street/city, i don't have a problem with the height 9) never knew what the big deal about bigger peddles. I have zero issues with the size of the peddle. I do light grip tape better than silicone. I, like marty, didn't like the silicone and will rip it out when i get mine. 10) i turn off side lights. i find them childish. don't need that. 11) front light might be better, but i like the king song having no front or rear and having two headlights and two taillights that switch automatically. But you can't run the V10 backwards, it has no headlights when running backwards as far as i know. you are missing 13 14) you can put the kingsong the same way, i wouldn't call it a kickstand, see picture. for me i rather just lay it down on its side. 15) if you bought an inmotion from a non authorized dealer, i'm sure you will run into the same issue with support. 16) you bought from non authorized dealer? not sure how you are comparing this. you got screwed, i'm sure ewheel's supply is fine. 17) you mention you won't go above 25kmph, so why does this matter? 18) inmotion missing active cooling. false advertisement. my king song's are quiet while not running. but when fan kicks in, i can barely hear it. it is not as loud as the whine when riding so now you are nit picking. 19) negligible. 20) trolley handle on inmotion was forced by design. they couldn't do a central trolley handle the best kind in my opinion in terms of stability. i rather have the recessed handle in the ks. 21) pads on the KS are great. better than most. I cannot believe the tiny pad on the inmotion is better than the ones on the KS. sorry, i think you are reaching. The app looks just as bad as the KS app. I don't know who they got to do the UI, it sucks. The both suck. Ninebot is the app to beat with all the bells and whistles even bluetooth security. This will be an issue eventually when you are riding along and someone shuts off your wheel remotely. mark my post. this will be an issue going forward when we get targetted. I don't think inmotion is killing any other maker especially king song. I think you are angry at King Song for not supporting the wheel you bought from an unauthorized dealer. This whole rant sounds like it to me. look, i don’t think the ks16s is a bad wheel. i’m not mad at kingsong. i think the ks16s is a great wheel, @Flora Yuanwas chatting with me trying to help me for three mornings in a row, she says they have the software fix and has instructions for me etc. i’m sure it will be unbricked later today. “primitive” isn’t a negative connotation. There is a negative connotation with the word primitive. You don't normally use it for things we like. I guess it is a sign of the times, meaning we are supposed to be in an advanced time. I think we both have different opinions of what primitive is supposed to be. airwheel x3 would be primitive. 16S is a pretty advanced wheel. The limited time i had to try the V10F, the only thing i didn't like about it was the pedals. everything else was meh... 3

BTW, I think KingSong shows the charging status via the ring lights, but you have to turn on the wheel to see it. When plugged-in the KingSong wheels don't balance, but the LEDs show the charging status.

It is the smallest 18" wheel out there. I like the design, I might end up hating it like I hate the msuper, only a test ride will tell. I don't do enough off road riding to justify it. That is why I said, I might end up with the 18L. Or the replacement to the 16S. the v10f should tie me down for a few months. I'm actually considering the 14S. novazeus
like i said in another post, to me the best wheel is the one that gets me from point a to point b upright with the least amount of effort and skill on my part. no bruises, no blisters etc. i can adjust to most stuff. i don’t use the bells and whistles of my 4 wheel vehicles. my 2008 screaming eagle 110 cu inch harley road king would be considered primitive but i’d rather hit a diagonal landscapers ramp that fell off their trailer on it as opposed to a fancy bmw bike( not really, i never rode a fancy bmw bike) i know my harley would probably handle it. my ktm superduke r, not so much. i think it’s very hard for anybody to do reviews on wheels because like every one of mine is unique on how they feel or drive. i don’t have the time to ride each wheel long enough to become second nature. when i was building high end custom homes, i’d study the other bulders models and if i saw something they were doing better than me, which was rare if never, i’d copy it. duh!

novazeus
i want a wheel that’s safe for me and Bob that reads my mind and i’m willing to put in the work to get there. the optional pads for my little ninebots are really nice. i wish somebody would make stick on pads for the whole wheel out of that foam. i like wheels that don’t bite. like i said, i’m looking towards the future as i get older. i’d much rather wheel into a store with Bob by my side on a wheel than use some other form of handicap mobility device. that’s my story and i’m sticking to it. 1
novazeus
you gotta remember, i’m in tampa, everything just south of me, is flat, flat, flat. i would have hated trying to learn street motorcycle riding or wheeling or inline skating with hilly terrain. that’s a whole other skillset. i’m glad marty tortures those wheels in ca, mine have life on easy street except for rough terrain off road. there’s a reason for electric golf carts down here but move further north, they are all gas, or were, when i was still playing. what we need down here is a big air-conditioned dome where u could go play with ur wheels in the summer without getting heatstroke. i’ve been wearing dickies one piece coveralls for protection from road rash while riding the wheels but even my lightest coveralls become a heat trap down here. idk how i’m gonna feel about scooting down my road practically naked. probably slow waay down, like s1 slow. Popular Post UniVehje
Today I experimented with the settings and that made a huge difference. I think I found the sweet spot for me. Pedal horizontal adjustment at 3.8 Footboard sensitivity at 2350 It feels and rides much better like this. A totally diffenet wheel. More nimble, comfortable, stable and reactive. I have one issue, though. I’d like it to break better. It regenerates at -500W and I’d like that to be stronger. I don’t care so much about the speed over 35 km/h. I’d rather have better acceleration and breaking. Still not bad, there’s plenty of power. ? Guys, please experiment with the full speed and acceleration in safe environment first. The app is great! ? I feel like the V10F is now twice as good and fun. Finding the right settings really makes the wheel come alive. Edited May 11, 2018 by UniVehje
