Well it was cooler tonight. I rode the Master, and got annoyed with it on grass after only 100 yds of it. One of the stops I found a spot to try some free-spin-observation and burnin. I think its actually round but out of balance. The seemingly tap tap effect at slower spin defies location on the tire (chicken strips are smooth all round).
Elliott Reitz
New hi speed of 25.6 mph for Teddy tonight. Loki did 27 a few years back with my MSX-100V. He could have easily done 35 but I wasn't good enough to keep with him at the time. And tonight, maybe if I coulda stayed up with Loki a bit better we'd have boosted Teddy with a neck tug.
Forwardnbak
No new info for this group in here. Just a roll to get back into it after covid. Fun wheel still love it.
Cerbera
Lot of excited dogs in this one. Quite interesting 'hand slapping' technique he uses to avoid them latching on to his ankles... Doesn't work the second time !

The lens always makes you look like you are doing 80mph everywhere, my guess is around 40mph which is fast. That one car that passed you was probably doing 55, they were going for it...lol

My guess is the tube is not seated correctly inside or has a crease making the tire slightly bulged in one spot. I like your testing method though. Cerbera
Exceptionally lovely town and country ride today in the setting sun, a few vids and pics in this tour... Finished up at the skate park for a nice cup of tea... Those lights on the side are 'aircraft level bright' I have noticed, and can be seen from 500m away when strobing ! The red you see there is still mega bright, but about a tenth of what the strobe LED does what that is on...

Elliott Reitz
Did a few minutes reviewing some mods on these 3 wheels adapted to my usecases: 1. Road (Master), 2. Trail (S20 (S22 v1)), and 3. Mixed and backup (T4). Pt1:

I was tired when I made that thumbnail and the kids kept jumping on me, so you might have me here I went up a hill! I am trying new skills but only small things. When I edited I saw that each roll I had tried a few new things. Small things but new skills for me. I was intimidated for some reason about inclines, mostly scratching my wheel. Balancing the wheel on logs was new, only small but heavy wheel made it feel harder. Maybe it isn’t a dedicated tutorial but showing myself slowly working on skills. Sorry to click bait it a little, I needed some watch hours for the youtube thing. Edited June 1, 2023 by Forwardnbak

CPro is a fantastic wheel, best all round 3600wh on the market to me, nothing to say about it. you can go fast for a really long time, if i remember correctly can go 50mph with 60% battery without beeping. Yeah cars and motorbike go crazy fast here, no matter how fast you are going you are like a pedestrian to them lol, speed limits in italy are a joke. Speed limit on this particular street is 30mph, i'm going 40, and they pass me at 55 lol example of EUC world tour recorded on this clip (first part) : https://euc.world/tour/622070433331136 example of side mounted instaGO camera : 2

Popular Post Cerbera
First test ride for the DJI Osmo Action 3, here mounted to the front of the Master just with velcro. Although recorded in 2.7K, where the quality after edit was excellent, my internets aren't really up to uploading 12 GB, so until fibre gets here I have limited it to 1080P, which gets it down to 787 MB. I am less interested in resolution at this point as I am trying to find out if I can eliminate the shakes in the footage from no suspension (as it was on my old MS3) and get decent filmed results in changing light conditions with a hands-free mount. Also keen to see how much the on-board mics pick up wind. For this first video test I am simply using all the defaults from the camera - so that is its normal color profile, with no grading, and RockSteady+, which is doing a great job of smoothing out the bumps that suspension didn't catch. Quite pleased with the results overall, but (after the activation debacle) I am still have a number of roadblocks to conquer with that camera, not least of which is the fact that I don't seem to be able to use either D-Cinelike colour profile, or 10 bit footage, or higher than 30 FPS, because the codec required for those (H.265 / HEVC) is not supported under Win 10, and DaVinci Resolve won't mount the media unless it is h.264... so that's not great, but more a Windows problem than anything to do with the camera.
