Popular Post mrelwood
We have now finally gotten an Inmotion employee who speaks English, and whose job is to communicate with the community! The Inmotion that has seemingly been working in silence for a while, now has a spokesperson and a channel for us to communicate with. How the communication starts with, is that I was given a piece of information, and a permission to share it on this forum: Inmotion will make a public announcement in January 2022 about their next EUC! I don't know what the wheel will actually be called, but it's not going to be "V13". I also don't know anything at all about the wheel itself, but it seems obvious that we're looking at a competitor to the bleeding edge of the EUC markets. Let the antagonizing wait begin!
Kekafuch
When is CES perfect time to unveil the “V20”.
MexicanBatman
I have a Dyson V12 vaccuum the next model came out with lasers so the new Inmotion will also feature lasers! 😂 Edited November 30, 2021 by Trevor Phillips

It is a bit odd because some dates suggest 2-4 Jan 2022 but all the logo of CES state 5-8 Jan 2022. Back in Jan 2021, it was supposed to be the event for both V11 and V12, but they got postponed. It could be really cool if this time they did show us something. For some reason my gut sensation just say I am glad I didn't pay for a pre-ordered S20. I have never seen any new EUCs announced at CES recently (other than perhaps by Ninebot many years ago). If the manufacturers are there they're mostly featuring scooters and things. (And just may have old EUCs on display as an afterthought.) Although I guess if InMotion went for some crazy aspirational high-end concept-car-type thing, a place like CES would make sense for it. (IIRC one of the Ninebots was many years ago but they long-since left the EUC market entire self-balancing space, and otherwise none of the other manufacturers have shown EUCs there--at least not with EUCs, maybe with scooters.) They used the booth to show their new e-scooter back in 2020 ( I couldn't find it right now. It might have been 2020 this pandemic thing mess up my sense of time). But I found this and the post above this show what they shares that year. Edited December 1, 2021 by Unventor did some more searching.
Finn Bjerke
There is Abrams hype - There is KS s20 hype. Ill hype the "V13" since I love the V11 so much. My sherman aint a bad wheel either I must say. But I do hope suspension wheels is the future of EUCs. the wait is agonizing .... But I certainly hope for a powerfull suspension wheel with more range than the V11, maybe a 126V battery or at least 100V?
Paulio Lightfoot
Thanks for bringing this information to us about the V13 !!! Looking forward to January and adding a new wheel to my Inmotion collection.
Popular Post Lex Smith
Exciting indeed! If Inmotion came out with a faster suspension wheel I would be keenly interested. The V11 has brought me so much joy and it's saving me about $30 a week in fuel or train fares.

I mean how fast do you dare to ride and what will you use. Edited December 1, 2021 by Unventor

Paul A
Ok, couldn't do exhibitor search. Maybe someone will go to CES and post a video. Hopefully ElectricUnicycles Marty might be the one to do it.

It takes me 45 minutes to get to work so with the return trip that's 90 minutes of joy every day 😀 I could see myself hitting 70 to 80km/h when the conditions were right but regularly doing 60km/h on the roads but only if that speed leaves plenty of safety margin. I hit the 50km/h beep regularly now but back off a few km knowing that I am eating into the safety margin especially if the battery is below 90%

I hit the 50km/h beep regularly now but back off a few km knowing that I am eating into the safety margin especially if the battery is below 90% See that is the point I tried to make. Having enough headroom to do a reasonable (which is different for every person) practical speed. And the big question at how long a range. So in the end it isn't really top speed that matter. It is getting from A to B (maybe also C...) and to A again. Being able to go 5km at 90kmh is not very useful as I see it. And yes my limit these days is 40kmh after having a wheel breakdown at 30kmh out of the blue I do not want to test the risk at those high speed. So to me safety and comfort and practicality are what I see from Inmotion's history. They have not so far gone faster than GW or similar sister brands.
OldFartRides
At the end of the eevee’s Abrams review he intimated that the next Inmotion product is going to be something extra special. As Spock would say, “very interesting”.
Popular Post Tryptych
After 6000+ km I can tell you the V11 is a kick ass wheel, I refuse to ride anything else. I've owned a Sherman and pre-ordered an S20, but a proper upgrade to the V11 is what I want most. Bring on the 100V suspension S20 killer.
Popular Post Halig
My wishes: - Easy to disassemble - 2000-2500 Wh - 100V - Stronger rim - More free space at the bottom so as not to break the lower part and not touch so much in areas with stones - Space for wider tires (I do not know if they exist, but a wide tire is key to those of us who like the mountain..low pressure, more grip,..) - More standard shock absorbers or, at least, that do not fail as much. 5 damaged shock absorbers in 10,000 km🤦. Still, the V11 is still a blast😍
Rotan
It sounds like a V11F doesn't it. It's what I'd like it to be. A v11 with 100v, refined suspension, better torque if possible and it's the sweet spot. If more performance means more weight, I'd just stop there. And for the fast and furious people there is the new v12 already
That Guy
I reckon it will be called "V1300" and it will be a 60mph (100kph) or/and 130V 20" wheel with a V11-type suspension, 3kW motor and detachable batteries. It will compare with S20 as V11 compares with S18. And how the S18 is the most comfortable off-roader today while V11 is the smoothest pavement eater, the new IM wheel will be the best ever urban wheel leaving the off-road for S20. Pretty much the only actual rumors I’ve heard is what the eevee’s video also referred to as “it’s going to blow peoples minds”, “no one else has done before”, “a bit scary”, “ambitious”, “something completely unexpected“, etc… It really doesn’t sound to me like it would just be slightly faster, or slightly more anything. I’m actually expecting something unexpected. On 12/7/2021 at 6:51 AM, That Guy said: the S18 is the most comfortable off-roader today Sure, as long as you stay on smooth surfaces (until you overhaul the suspension, 20+ hrs), don’t try to accelerate uphill or get stuck on roots due to battery sag, replace the pads with DIY, and stay on dry and clean paved roads because the street tire has a dangerously lousy grip elsewhere…
