It crosses my mind every once in awhile. But I do care for my wheels and don't abuse them and don't ignore any symptoms that might indicate a battery problem. Also, they aren't stored in my house

Also, they aren't stored in my house I built a "Power House" -- I basically insulated and powered (with an 80 amp service) a shed, added a mini-split for HVAC, and I keep all my wheels there, temperature controlled winter and summer, and away from my house and garage in case a Begode wheel explodes. 2

Spending for a mini-split too is next-level

It's a heat pump system where the inside evaporator hangs on the wall and has no ducts connected to it. It draws air in from the top and blows it out the bottom. It has a set of copper lines that the refrigerant runs through out to the condenser outside. Also refereed to as a "ductless split" and can do both heating and cooling by reversing the direction of refrigerant flow making the evaporator coil the condensing coil in heat mode. HVAC= heating ventilation and air-conditioning a "mini-split" is heating and air-conditioning not ventilation often mis- labeled as such. We call them an Air to air (or A2A) heat pump; a friend installs these (Scandinavian spec, COP of 4 and above), they’re pretty cost effective, unless you have to pay German rates for your energy these days.

The winter has been very hard on many of our roads.

Popular Post mhpr262
I recently rode the "Kaiserradrundweg" in Austria on my wheel. The name is derived from the famous "Wilder Kaiser" mountain massif that the route encircles. It is located very close to the German border, less than half an hour by car from meepmeepmayer in Rosenheim I did the trip on my EX20HT, starting well north of Kufstein, and rode in a clockwise direction. You can find the tour on www.waymarkedtrails.org. It is marked as "KRR" there. Some pics: Edited April 12 by mhpr262
