I marveled at the helmet/gear worn by the tall rider , knowing it's purpose, but wondered if.... for the uninformed pedestrian, the appearance was a dazzling out of place overkill . The helmet (Ferrari driver look) and the pads (ready, like an armored knight for the worst impact) detracted attention from the (slow moving device) EUC he rode(rolled on) and bespoke 'ready for anything' like protection expected from maybe a dirt bike rider on the bumpy trail. After all it's a bicycling path and jogging route. Any thoughts? The Mike Sacristan outerwear look, although potentially risky, blends more effectively with the surroundings. Mike usually wears the Lazy Rolling jacket from Sweden. Looks like a hoodie jacket, but has the full type two back, shoulder and elbow protectors. Quality is top grade. It’s the way to go for me......I feel a right dork dressed like Darth Vader cruising up the cycle path!
Popular Post mhpr262
Last week I scouted a new EUC route with my car, in the pouring rain. Today I got to try it out on my wheel, in perfect weather and it was all I had hoped for and more. This is around 10 kilometers north east of Altötting, one of the most famous pilgrimage sites in all of Germany: The length of the route is about 25 kilometers and I was passed by about three or four cars over the whole distance. It was such a nice, relaxed ride. Fun fact: in the lower right hand corner of the map you can see the small town of Marktl am Inn, where the former Pope Benedict XVI was born. Thanks for asking. This was my original plan when I bought the V10F. To have my GF on the other side, and do a lot of tandem work. We did some practice. Popular Post Carl Svanfelt
You probably agree with me that with an EUC, you’ll notice a lot of things you don’t see while driving a car. In my pic you see the only Vladimir Ilyich Lenin propaganda art outdoor statue in the world of this size. The Soviet Union forced the city of Tallinn in Estonia to donate a statue to my hometown of Kotka in 1979. EUC: Begode T3
