Hopefully shipping from Los Angeles to San Diego would not take too long. I am too lazy to drive up to Los Angeles from San Diego to pick up the V12. I've diverted my previous wheels to FedEx holding places but it delays it by a day typically. Luckily, the warehouse in Compton isn't too far (<40 miles) from my location. Takeaways: * Plastics are modular, and separate from electronics, which should make them easy to replace * Mood lighting is actually bright, but the plastic is smoked and translucent, which dims the lighting. Mods could fix that? * overall a complex wheel to disassemble, due to number of parts and many layers. Adam calls it the “onion” due to layers. * good build quality and waterproofing * adam’s wheel seemed to have similar assembly wear on motor wires as the unit disassembled by the russian vendor. * impressive heat sink and mosfet semi-isolation from control board * heat sink vulnerable to mud- if mud was catching inside my wheel i would keep a CAREFUL eye on my temps, or quit the ride and clean wheel immediately.
