Still waiting after 5 months EDIT: erides = UK = VAT and customs which for me I think would be 25% + 12,5%. I dont think that would be great. My local seller doesnt have Sherman but seems nice and I think has EXN HT... Lets see. Edited July 26, 2021 by KPul

Popular Post KPul
I have been waiting for a Sherman for 5 months but that order just got refunded without any wheel. The price of the wheel has increased by 1 000 USD, since I paid for my order. I got the refund more or less same day as AliExpress made the decision. lol they were just avoiding delivery so they could cancel order and sell to someone else at a higher price. So I am out of this race after 5 months of waiting for a Sherman from the fraudulent seller "green and fashion travaling shop" aka "Chicway". (Seller is currently claiming they have the wheel in stock, even if they just claimed that they didnt have a wheel to send me)

Fool me once.... Hmm, ye "make em" could be difficult since they are Chinese and build their business on lying to customers They obviously just fake inventory to get people to order with hopes of "fast" delivery. Even if they dont even have a single wheel, factory is behind in production and the shop already has a long backlog of orders. I also dont really want to finance the criminals on "green and fashion travaling shop" aka "Chicway". . aaaand I also got another wheel from a local dealer (EX.N)

Popular Post Mantraguy
On 7/13/2021 at 9:44 AM, Mantraguy said: Anyone interested in a contest for longest wait time? I ordered my Sherman on March 4th. I had tracking information by early April, and found that it had left the Port of Shanghai around April 22nd. That's the last tracking information that I have - that it left China on a ship somewhere around April 22nd. Fast forward to early July, and there's still no updated tracking since April 22nd, so I started getting a little more serious with the seller, asking them to look into where it was and asking what the options are if it is, indeed, lost. It seems most tracking sites (including those that specialize with ocean cargo) consider it 'expired' when there's up update for over 60 days, which this certainly was. The seller wasn't really able to provide any more information; I'm not sure if this was their choice or if the freight forwarder they use simply wasn't interested in looking into it for them. I had gotten a UPS tracking number, which is generated by the local broker when the cargo is on its way and they are arranging delivery within the country once it clears customs. So that was my only lead. I called UPS and, after a few calls I started piecing together some information; one of their agents was coerced into telling me the name of the shipper here in Canada. That didn't really get me far though - a bit of googling produced a phone number for that company, which is now out of service. I searched around for that phone number and found a link somewhere to a different company, also a customs broker in the same city (Mississauga). To me, this seemed to much to be a coincidence, so I tracked down a current phone number for that company and called them. They couldn't tell me anything without a shipping container number, but I did ask if they were affiliated in any way to the company that I had on record as the UPS shipper, and they offered up a short, non-commital "yes". A few phone calls and emails later, I managed to get my hands on a copy of a Container Examination form for the Port of Vancouver, that had a few unique identifiers on it. Unfortunately, the cargo control number and container number had been greyed out on my copy, but it was better than nothing. It also contained the name of another broker, this one in Vancouver, and the location of the shipment: Deltaport (a container port in a Vancouver suberb). The date on the form was May 10th. OK, so by May 10th it had made its way to Vancouver, but that was over two months ago - where is it now?! The new broker was able to inform me that the shipment had been delayed by the Canadian Border Services Agency (CBSA), and that the container had been inspected some time after that and found to include a few items that were not properly documented. Health Canada then got involved, and it took them a few weeks (ok, over 4 weeks) to get out there and inspect the cargo for themselves. I discovered that the shipment included over 1000 items, some of them clothing that for whatever reason did not conform to Canadian health standards, so the entire shipment was delayed. I tracked down the CBSA agent who was handling this shipment, and risked emailing him (not really something I'd recommend; they don't really want to hear from the end consumer and I knew this could have negative consequences if I told him something that didn't match what he may already have on record) and got a few questions answered regarding how the process worked, and what is likely to be the result of all this. He was kind enough to explain the process and that this particular shipment has now been inspected by Health Canada and, except for a few (some 50) items that are still not properly documented or permitted, the rest will be cleared by customs within the next few days. Then the broker has to do their paperwork, the agent finally takes delivery and calls UPS for a pickup from the warehouse, and it can start making its way to me. Of course, this hasn't happened yet so I'm still patiently waiting... but at least I have some confidence now that it's probably not lost (yet!). Today is day 131 from when I placed the order (almost 19 weeks); I'm hoping to have it before the end of next week (which would be around 140 days) but that may be a little optimistic. Can anyone top 19-20 weeks delivery time? :-o More "sleuthing" after posting the above revealed that the overall shipment (which I was told, but could not verify, that my Sherman was part of) finally was cleared on July 16th or so, and would be with UPS soon afterwards for final delivery. We left for 2 weeks on July 24, on a trip well out of any internet service, but I assumed it would be waiting for me when I returned home. It wasn't. So, more detective work! I talked to the seller, the customs broker here in Canada, the freight forwarder in Ontario, and even the warehouse where it was (supposedly but not verifiable) sitting awaiting release. Finally, discovered it had left that warehouse for UPS on July 29th, although it was not collected directly by UPS so I couldn't determine what trucking company was responsible for getting it from the warehouse to UPS. I was just trying to get answers to that question and suddenly this morning (August 12) I had an update with UPS tracking - they had it late last night in Vancouver. 10 minutes ago the doorbell rang - it's here! Just unpacking now and making sure all is well. So that's it - 162 days (23 weeks and one day) after ordering, it has arrived! Let's hope I don't find a cracked rim or anything... :-o

I've been waiting nearly 100 days, and my EXN has been sitting at the long beach port for over a month now, and no movement or updates. I want to raise hell, and say "screw it" but I know that th seller is not the one to blame here. Think it's important to recognize the current shipping/logistics challenges and delays, and not use their delays against overseas sellers. If we don't want to headache, hassle, or worries of a wheel not showing up, or having a hard time getting a refund -- we should purchase from US distributors that advocate for their customers. Ewheels, euco, alienrides, etc. We pay the markup for the convenience, and service when going this route, while they mitigate much of the risk we take by ordering from overseas, and hoping it makes it to our doorstep.

Popular Post meepmeepmayer
I wasn't aware it was this bad! ewheels sold out completely, prices rising! How is it with European prices and availability directly from China? This battery crisis continues to be not cool at all! 1 hour ago, AtlasP said: Arguably the biggest news remains the battery crisis and its impact, as most-notably Ewheels is now sold-out of ALL EUCs--EVERY make/model. EUCO & Alien Rides are not-quite there but are also sold-out of at least half to two-thirds of models. Many pages reference next expected deliveries not until late Sept or simply "fall" (or for example see the EUCO stock availability, here: https://euco.us/pages/preorders ), but it is currently unknown to what degree some these may be optimistic placeholders which could further be delayed. Correspondingly, the other half of the shortage is rising prices across the board. As an experiment I am trying documenting the full set of these changes here, but honestly I still think my table is a better/easier-to-read visualization of the final numbers. The two takeaways from this are: 1) it seems eWheels as the market leader sets initial prices and then EUCO and Alien Rides adjust theirs to match (within a few bucks, with a few outlying exceptions) and 2) this initial increase seems to be a blanket bump of $100 to many newer and/or popular wheels. johrhoj
I am waiting for my Veteran Sherman. I ordered about 6 weeks ago. I thought I was smart to order then, because I could see the price beginning to go up. Is it true that the Veteran Abrams will be available before the production of the Sherman resumes? If so I would like to change my order. I ordered via AliExpress. Anyone out there any suggestion how to go about changing an order (if possible at all?) I was über lucky and received my parts order last week, sad that I didn't order tires (the H666 may be history now) and tubes though. Since their primary wheel inventory is in LA (and probably still on boats!), you wouldn't necessarily think that new wheels would be affected, but in a small company this kind of disruption is bound to affect all aspects of the business... what happens in Tucson will undoubtedly affect LA.
