Popular Post Dominic Winsor
I’m interested in knowing what firmware revisions are out there at the moment for the Sherman. Mine arrived to me in late October 2020 with FW 1053, and I’ve just received the 1055 update chip. I have seen others here have 1056, which apparently addresses pedal dip on turns. I realise that there’s no release notes or change logs with this so it is mainly what is noticeable to you. I’ll start: 1053 - my only experience with the Sherman so far. It is stable and rides well, except for an unsettling forward dip when I make a turn (especially at slower speeds)
Steve Jo
I'm just wondering if they updated the firmware to fix pedal dips while turning has effect on torque distribution....I noticed first batch of sherman was capable of 106kph off load ,then gradually decreased with later firmware (100-103kph max off load)..not sure if this is true
Dominic Winsor
I have updated - was easy enough thanks to the video post made by Shield recently Veteran firmware update My thoughts after a mile of riding (it is REALLY wet today.. I got soaked already) 1055 - less pedal dip on turning. Feels smooth. Will update after a while once I’ve properly ridden it and it’s not like riding in the shower.

Are you experiencing a lot of pedal dipping?

But i'm a light rider that is slowly getting accustomed to a completely different wheel. So might not have triggered it.
Steve Jo
The pedal dip in Sherman is noticeable especially first batch when turning...if you don't feel any pedal dip during turning then you may get latest firmware 47 minutes ago, craio said: None yet. Mine only charges to like 97% on darknessbot. And with full battery my speed is 103kph
Dominic Winsor
I used the firmware info in darknessbot. 1055. Not sure where the 4.x series numbers appear and how they relate to the 105x series.
808shane
I have 1053... Has anyone updated from the earlier version, to 1056 and can report back their results? I'm curious. I've gotten used to the pedal dip when turning. Maybe because the sherman was my first wheel, so I didn't know any better and just took it as it is how it was.... It would be nice though to not have it dip!

So darknessbot reports 1xxx numbers and euc world x.xx? Not sure how one translates to the other.

I wonder if they new firmware lowers top speed even more for better torque

Dominic Winsor
Does anyone here have both Darknessbot AND EUC World? Perhaps they can report which 4.x firmware relates to the 105x?

Unfortunately none of them have that OEM look and performance with a white glow/halo light, which is what I'd prefer.
Popular Post Ilya Shkolnik
Briefly about the firmware version for Sherman🤔 Veteran's don't want users to see the firmware version in our apps. I think that the EUC World developer and I need to display the firmware version in the same format. The problem is that Veteran's don't say what format they intended the version to be in. You can vote for the version format: 1053 1.053 1.0.53 1.0.5.3 4.29
