  1. Every time the big boss does something for us he also updates to the latest version. Unless there are different forum software tiers this should not be a problem.
  2. If the forum software actually supports attachment management (didn't know that, I just assumed it was shitty like that), I'll ask if we can switch that on.
  3. Shermas for Master price might be too good to be true. But this is the price it should have!
  4. 2022 has been a horrible year for new EUCs and their quality, and I 101% understand how shitty this must be for people getting into the hobby. Ridiculous. That being said, waiting for new models means waiting another year, and what if they need fixes too then? There's something to be said for a) getting the wheel you really want (assuming it works ok) now, and b) buying it from a good dealer so you have great support if you were indeed to have a problem with it. Even problematic EUCs are still so great when they are working as intended, which will be right away or after you fixed something (maybe once or twice). So if you want the T4, consider just getting one yolo style. (Assuming there is no new horrible problem with the T4 that I'm not aware of [not reading this thread], and assuming you're not spending all of your money on one and it needs to be 100% good for it to be worth it for you.) Don't miss out either.
  5. Maybe the first batch V13 will be totally fine. Maybe not and you find out how good smartwheel's service really is. Nobody can predict what will happen. I think the discount is worth being an early adopter if you buy from a dealer you trust will help with any problems. (Without discount, I would probably wait.)
  6. Riding an S22 with a V12 as backup, in 2022. You like to live dangerously Great stable of wheels though.
  7. Please post in English here. You can always use Google Translate or likewise, and post in multiple languages if you want. "Thank you for your explanation French speaking friend. Can we do this manipulation without dismantling it completely? I specify, may have just unscrewed the upper part without removing the batteries. I have grizzla pads to install, too lazy to remove everything.Thank you for your explanation French speaking friend. Can we do this manipulation without dismantling it completely? 8. This thing is even self-balancing! Would not have thought it from the first look with these front wheels. But yeah... Too bad they didn't show the board.
  9. Nothing crazy about wanting a nice new shiny wheel! Mind that it is going to be a quite different ride than a V11 with that huge tire (as you mention hills: braking might need more effort by the rider). One could argue whether buying a first batch wheel in 2022 is crazy. But at least there is a really nice early bird discount here, which I think is a fair trade and would work for me (if I wanted a V13). And even if there are problems you know they are going to be fixed eventually, the questions is just how awful it might be getting there So short answer: it's up to you, there's no clear reason to do one thing or the other. Trust your gut.
  10. The horror! I have a related story: once I automatically leaned and was first confused and then a little indignant to find out I had taken a step to not fall over, and then had to use my legs to WALK, because there was no EUC there like my subconsciousness expected. You realize how awfully slow walking is then.
  11. Ok we can do that. Might take a while, only the admin can do it.
  12. The best way to reach the site staff (moderators) is via the report function. All moderators will see the report, and we get notifications and an extra exclamation-marked shiny symbol when it happens, and it will automatically give us a space to discuss the issue at hand. This is the fastest and most reliable way to get the staff's attention. Reports typically are for when you see a (potential) problem and want to tell the moderators. We are always thankful for tips if something is going on, and ideas on how to make things better. But you can use a report to get moderator attention for any reason. Just report something (doesn't matter what - for example any post of yours, or this post) and tell us in the report message what is up. How to report: You can "Report" most things on this forum by pressing the three dots in the top right of a post (or private message or ...) and selecting "Report": You can then add a message of yours, and submit the report: You can send a private message to one of the moderators. But then you risk that person being absent or inactive or overlooking your message, and you might have to wait longer than a report would have taken. Naturally, you can just post publicly on the forum if you want and it works for you. Right now, unfortunately there's no good way to reach the site staff if you don't have an account on the forum or if something is wrong with the account and you cannot access it (though you can always make a dummy account if you have another e-mail address). What worked so far is finding someone in another place (like the forum's Facebook group or the forum's Discord or hoping someone sees it on the electric unicycle subreddit) who can contact us, and them contacting the site staff here. Then we can get back to you or fix whatever the problem is. Feel free to reach the site staff the way you think is best. Probably in most cases this will be the report function.
  13. (This has been split off the Sherman-S topic, around here.)
  14. 2 beeps is the first speed alarm, 3 beeps the 2nd. So these alarms are just not off. (The 80% alarm is 5/continuous beeps and cannot be disabled.) Make sure you disable the wheel beeps and not any internal EUC World alarms (or that EUCW doesn't re-enable them secretly.) Worst case: try this old ass Gotway app (or any other app) and see if it can disable the alarms: https://forum.electricunicycle.org/applications/core/interface/file/attachment.php?id=11932
  15. Sometimes wishes do become true @AtlasPdid exactly that! Direct link to the spreadsheet: https://1drv.ms/x/s!Ag0ky7mWfH9cm9dMfvYothdqZtIsdw It's only current models so it does not have some "historic" wheels, but that's the only bad thing I can say about it. - And thanks for your nice comments. This topic is meant to give range seekers a quick overview of which wheels have the biggest battery sizes = ranges, nothing more, so it does not get too complicated. For more, check the spreadsheet or this web database (it's the other two topics pinned to the top of this particular subforum!). There's also this comparison tool on the EUC Guide website: https://eucguide.com/euc-comparison-tool/ Check these three out.
  16. This has been split into its own thread for better visibility (Originally posted here.)
  17. I would guess it's less about taking a principled stand and more about avoiding crazy expensive repairs and replacements. I don't want to imagine what all the 2022 disasters have cost dealers in money and time and stress. Probably getting the early adopter sales doesn't make up for it. Anyways, this is unequivocally good! If anybody, it's the dealers who can force changes with the manufacturers. Money talks. And manufacturers will have to step up quality unless this becomes the norm and then who will buy their wheels right away? Hopefully they will now design good wheels from the start instead of building something and then hoping and testing if it works. Like all those board problems on the V12 and S22, no excuse for that to still happen, boards should be a solved problem by now. Looks like they did good on that item with the V13 though.
