  2. 18XL real tire diameter is... 19 inches? The 16X is 17.75 inches so it's an 18 incher in reality. Not a real 16 incher. The difference between the 18XL and 16X may be smaller than it appears.
  3. An MSX for 1300 is indeed a steal! Try it and report how it went Not sure how it works with shipping if they ship to the US. Will it cost? Maybe Gotway will send that wheel right to you if you order it from eucservice? I'd contact them and ask how the details work. As a EU company who put themselves on video, I think you're as safe as you can be with any relatively new seller.
  4. @travsformation Quite the adventure! I'm definitely not envious, not at all And you have your own support car, not bad. I think no 18 incher really brakes well on steep declines. And maybe your car needs a look at its brakes?
  5. As far as I'm concerned, with a regular unicycle you're now more extreme than before What would you have liked EUCs to do? More power/acceleration/braking?
  6. eucservice is new, but they seem quite legit. There are some (unanswered) questions about how they did their specific battery mods, but for standard models this doesn't matter anyways. Some really nice prices there! They're using Gotways current "Buy 5 get 1 free" policy to offer these prices. I don't know how much sense it makes to buy from them if you're in North America compared to a direct China import (Ali etc.). But for Europe it seems great.
  7. TLDR 1) Some kind of location must always be in the topic title. 2) Sale: wheel designation must be in title. 3) Buy: title must indicate you are looking for a wheel. Private Sales As the name implies, this forum is only for private selling and buying of electric unicycles (wheels, EUCs) and all related things (for example accessories, parts, protective equipment - just no unrelated stuff please). Clearly commercial offers belong into the Commercial Advertisements forum. If a commercial seller wants to sell some specific used wheels or things, posting here is ok if it benefits the buyer (e.g. better visibility). Minimum requirements for the title of a topic - please put these in the title You can put anything you want in the title. But these three are minimum requirements for a topic's title. The location of the electric unicycle (sale) or buyer (buy) must be in the topic title. At least the continent (Europe, North America, etc.) should be clear, and being more precise will be helpful. Shipping electric unicycles overseas is expensive and complicated, and will overwhelmingly not be worth it. To prevent frustration for members browsing the posts here, a location that specifies at least the continent is required in the title. If you sell a specific wheel, the wheel name must be in the title of the topic. If you are looking to buy a wheel, the title must indicate so (Wanted, WTB = want to buy, looking for, help me find, ...). Otherwise the topic will be considered a sales post by default. Examples of good titles: EU - looking for beginner wheel [someone in Europe looking to buy an unspecified beginner wheel] MSX 1600Wh £1200 OBO UK [someone in the UK, selling an Msuper X with a 1600Wh battery, with a basis of negotiation that is 1200 Pounds] Three Inmotions for sale (V10, 2x V8) in California WTB MSX 100V (East Coast) [Someone on the east coast of the US wanting to buy a 100V MSX] Inmotion V5F good condition in San Diego $250 (local pick-up preferred) Examples of bad titles: Selling my Gotway [wheel not indicated, location not indicated] xxxl33th4xx0r420xxx (that's the username, and in the topic itself there's a full description) [no info in the title] Beginner wheel? [They want to buy one or what? And no location.] What you can add in the title or post itself to help you sell your wheel or buy a wheel Add anything you see fit, where you see fit - in the title or in the post itself! Useful information will help sell or buy a wheel more easily. For example... A price or price range for sales - most people will want to know Photos of what you want to sell! See here how to post images. This is the #1 request in topics without photos. Regarding photos: As a seller, you can prove that you are legit and not a scammer (using someone else's photos) by having a handwritten note with your forum username in one of the photos of your wheel. This is a great and easy safety measure. More about scammers here. For selling, usually it will be best if the name of the electric unicycle is the (visually) first thing in the title. This helps people quickly see what a topic is about. Details about the electric unicycle. What is the battery capacity? How old is it? What is the mileage? Where was it bought from, does it still have warranty? How scratched up is it, and where? Etc. An app screenshot may be useful (contains mileage and wheel type, can confirm that your battery charges to the full voltage). Indicate if you are willing to ship or if it's local pick-up only. In the case of local pick-up, ideally that should be added to the location in the title, to help people quickly see if a wheel is available to them. Why you are selling. Especially for newer models, people will want to know why you sell, so adding this information will reassure potential buyers. Sold wheels Please indicate if a wheel has been sold. You can edit a SOLD (or similar) into the title or simply post a "Sold" reply to your your topic. Example of an updated thread title: [ALL SOLD] Three Inmotions for sale (V10, 2x V8) in California
  8. As there's no basis for Bluetooth actually affecting your neighbor, just tell him you disabled it. You have Bluetooth, and he is happy (or rather will have to find something new to get attention)
  9. EUCO and eucservice (and other?) offers still seem to stand.
  10. I found the review fair. The V8F is a refresh and does exactly what it should as such. But in the end, the V8 and V8F are no powerhouses. For a "normal" weight rider (80+kg) it's not strong enough for the advertised 35kph and similar stresses (e.g. him getting tiltback on moderate hills). Sure, it has its niche, most importantly price. But in the end, unless you care about wheel weight or do not care about the limitations, I think other wheel models (starting with the V10) are just the better buy. A V8F is still a lot of money and I expect most riders would still want to upgrade soon. I think that's what the video was getting across, and that's justified. A perfectly fine wheel, but not the best option to buy for most (new) people.
  11. Posted by Yi Chen when? This was shown in the beginning of the year. Personally, I don't believe we will ever see another wheel from Rockwheel, which seems to be dead (?). @Jean Dublin seems to have a good connection, maybe he knows the latest state of things?
  12. Maybe it's a problem in translation, but what is "annoying" about this? It's just some kid interacting with you
  13. 84V = evil beeper is somewhere else = I would not expect any problems (after all, the 84V have been fine so far)
  14. This looks to me like a mild case of a loose board. Make sure the board is tight in the shell. If it can move a little, this usually leads to this kind of vibrating. So tighten the screws holding the board (if necessary, and don't overtighten) and check for cracks or broken plastic pieces that might allow the board to move a bit.
  15. I meant mostly that if the sensor is so susceptible to interference, maybe some electromagnetic shielding (aka a metal casing) wouldn't be the worst idea. Right now, it looks like you could build a "zapper" that makes every wheel oscillate! As far as what causes this, I have to trust what Gotway and Jason say. Good idea with the rear light, though. Maybe it is the culprit, after all it doesn't work in those cases and it seems more likely the rear light interferes with the sensor than the beeper interfering with both the sensor and rear light. On the other hand, the beeper was moved, the rear light was not. And since it has power cables going to it, I think it will do electromagnetism Maybe it's the combination of beeper and light, too
  16. So this is only because they had to move the speaker for the 1860Wh mod to fit? That means other MSXes are good Phew...
  17. Electromagnetism, how does it work? The electrical engineers at Kingsong (18L) and now Gotway, too, apparently don't know Is the speaker placement or model different on the 1860Wh MSXes? What changed?
  18. I cannot picture any non-sliding glove that breaks before it puts a lot of (too much) force onto your arms and shoulders and that also has some kind of usable purpose (finger protection, cold protection, whatever else).
  19. Firmware problem information split for better visibility.
  20. Split for visibility. Are any MSXes affected? Only 100V? Is the back light not working a sure sign the MSX is bad? If the light works, does that mean you're good?
