  1. Revealed or released? Did Kuji even get a V11 already? This year is full of unexpected surprises!
  2. D.A.M.N. I'm not even that impressed by the super stable pedals, but by how controlled the descent is - no wheel runaway at the slightest! Super slow and controlled!
  3. What do you guys think about the look of this wheel? I was unsure at first but I'm starting to like it more and more, looking at this picture for example. Pretty simple and form-follows-function, if you think about it. A circular wheel, emphasized by the circular side panel, then a light/electronics assembly on top of it, and then the suspension/handle floating on top of it. Nice, readable, sleek! The only complaint I have is no wider body meaning more battery, but they weren't going for that anyways. Despite the "offroad" marketing, this looks one good seat option away from being the perfect commuting wheel. (Image from Speedy Feet, but he stole it from somewhere else if you see the watermark)
  4. Easy, we both are part of the moderator reign of terror here
  5. Didn't happen to me, you must think of someone else.
  6. Wow this EUC year is getting exciting!!
  7. They are all the same [except for the 800Wh one in the MCM5, it's a split design].
  8. How do you guys even find these ancient topics? They guy you quoted hasn't been here in a year. Anyways, it's 2020 and there are far better cameras now than in 2017. Feel free to make your on topic if you want something specific, or find a newer topic.
  9. Lesson for Inmotion: Next time you announce a new wheel, make an awesome video like for the V10/V10F. This wheel definitely needs a few slow-mo shots of the suspension working, and a nice trailer along with that wouldn't hurt. Because if no video, as you see, people are looking for doom wherever they can with the lack of information Looking forward to seeing real life experiences with the suspension. I think this innovation might be bigger than it looks now where we have to guess from a few pictures.
  10. @LanghamP I would switch from "Boomer Remover" to "Boomer Doomer" or "Boomer Ex" if you want to keep going that angle (I neither approve nor disapprove tbh) - rolls better off the tongue
  11. I have the highest respect for someone running his own business like that. So I understand how this must be jarring, being disrupted like that with no fault of your own and no certainy how it will go on Well, again, good luck, and may this be over soon (in the US, I don't think so - not sure how well and fast Ohio did take precautions).
  12. Buy the wheel you want! A bad battery pack is an extremely rare occurrence and means little other than you simply had bad luck.
  13. Aren't you the definition of "essential"? Or did traffic simply reduce massively? I'm surprised you're hit so hard. Well, nothing I can do but wish you all the best!
  14. @Gasmantle This is more about protecting the shops that have to close from feeling unfairly disadvantaged, and to prevent gaming the essential/non-essential system (anyone could start selling food and call the entire store essential otherwise). Can't force one guy who sells X to close and allow another guy to keep selling X. There's also a small argument to be made that allowing non-essential stuff to be sold incentivizes trips that would otherwise might not be made. But I completely agree that this essential vs. nonessential stuff gets nonsensical very soon. If this quarantining stuff doesn't end in April, serious changes will have to be made (opening all retail locations again, with some serious restrictions where necessary).
  15. Shiny new wheel syndrome? Maybe I'm wrong and that only works with Gotways Anyways, Jason will surely send you a V11 asap if you ask, and I don't think you would mind trying it. So...
  16. Nothing new here, but a nice summary by @EcoDrift: Inmotion V11. Presentation took place
  17. Return it or demand a replacement, now. This (a faulty battery pack) is a warranty situation if there ever was a warranty situation.
  18. Is the tire locked? Does it rotate freely with the wheel off? If it's locked in place, that is a short.
  19. Yes, they need to offer a seat asap. Notably missing!
  20. I have heard this "eh I'll skip" from you often enough that I'm not worried. Let Jason send you a review model at the earliest possibility, and then let's see. Looking forward to your (as in yours) V11 videos
  21. I suspect this wheel has actual ergonomics (from the looks of their ambition), and it might very well be that once you try the suspension, every suspensionless wheel will feel outdated and uncomfortable afterwards. This is the most "real life decides how good it is" wheel ever, the specs mean little. Can't wait to hear and see some impressions. When can we expect those?
  22. I've just seen this 5 minutes ago and had a short look at this thread, but the suspension, the working mudguard (from the looks of it) and that genius kickstand alone are brilliant! Very ambitious project by IM.
  23. There literally was a football match (in Italy) between Spain and Italy (if I remember correctly) that is now confirmed to have been a defining, massive virus spreader, and that everyone screamed about not holding, but they did it anyways. I'm sure there were a ton of similar events. The question is not how good the current lockdown is, but what happened before the lockdown. Were decisions based on public health, or any fucking thing else, that matters. Not at all limited to Spain. Everyone in Europe had (and has!) various degrees of "but muh economy" and "but muh public events" and "but there aren't any cases here right now". Thanks to these dumbasses, this will take forever to get back to a semblance of normal.
