  1. I think the Sherman would benefit greatly from a "V2" small update. Maybe change the pedal hangers so the shell is a bit higher and the lower corners aren't so much in danger of scraping. Maybe modify the metal tube idea to also offer a grab handle on top. And whatever other small things come up. Just some small changes could make this wheel basically perfect.
  2. Seems (to me) a bit "meh" ín a post-Sherman world. But maybe the suspension will be worth it.
  3. @The Fat Unicyclist has last been here June 12 (see profile). You might get a reply faster by contacting roll.nz directly (or at least send him a DM via the forum and hoping he has the default email notification on). Just so you know - Also I'm wondering about bodyguards for all the shiny new wheels releasing now - S18, V11, Sherman.
  4. You already know what you really want. Sherman h e r m a n The MSP is great, but now I see little reason to prefer one over a Sherman (Lower weight? Maybe better maneuverability in some situations due to the lower weight?).
  5. You can restrain yourself when you have the Sherman.
  6. Not sure how the shape of the 16X is, but a bodyguard might not only protect your wheel, but also your shins in the right situation. That alone is worth it in my book.
  7. Wowwww Glorious. Now imagine the kind of tours you could do with a Sherman! It literally has twice the battery capacity, and I hear the rest is nice too
  8. I have no idea. Probably any hall sensor with the right specs (whatever those are) will work, but that's a guess. Also not sure how realistic/easy/doable a hall sensor replacement would be.
  9. Apparently this is a Gotway Tesla?
  10. I think the wheel would throw an error beep and would not balance if one of the hall sensor wires was disconnected. Not sure exactly.
  11. Wow it arrived quickly! I think a EUC bodyguard for your 16X (otr any wheel that has one) is worth it. Maybe it's too late already, but these things are great. https://www.roll.nz/int/27-store
  12. Tiltforward means it is easier to push your heels down onto the rear part of the pedals and brake
  13. Everything is good, I see all your videos! That comment was long ago before you uploaded your first range test video (but you made it sound like it was already on Youtube). You answered twice that it wasn't up yet, so I think your own thread is confusing you Everything is good, I see all your videos.
  14. I believe so. Compare it to the "24 inch" Monster Pro in the picture with both wheels. I still think labeling wheels by actual outer diameter is the way to go. But obviously some people disagree, so for you this would be an 18 incher, just like the Sherman.
  15. That range! Must have been a loooong day. Awesome!!
  16. One of the funniest EUC videos I have seen. You lifting the Sherman into the truck the first time with the unexpected awkward body bend was hilarious - Looks like they could easily fix this by extending/modifying the metal tubing along the top of the wheel to offer a grab handle.
  17. mten3? Any interest in an MCM5? Or one of the suspension wheels? Hard to beat an MSX as an all-purpose wheel.
  18. Three battery packs. That better not be an uneven weight/battery distribution (two packs on one side, and one pack + board on the other). Not after the Sherman and its apparently glorious balancedness. Really excited about this, Gotway have been killing it with their new motor designs!
  19. I don't like that thing sticking out at the bottom. That's going to scrape and possibly bend, isn't it?
  20. This linked post contains Bing Translator links to the disassembly photo article as well as the two other latest Sherman articles by EcoDrift (just wheel photos, plus a first impressions video):
  21. Congratulations! Quite a performance jump Looking forward to your impressions.
  22. What an awesome wheel. Little neutron star Marty, be careful your cape doesn't get caught by the tire and sucked into the wheel well. Looked close at times. That might be an unexpected and nasty crash.
