Popular Post Flying W
@Paulo Mesquita I just had the "thinking about nothing" show with my wife....I even recommended she try it sometime as it's almost meditation to veg out "not thinking" for a little bit. Apparently lead balloons fly better than my comment to her and she still just thought I didn't want to tell her what I was thinking about. There is a certain number of argument tickets in a marriage that need to be cashed in annually. Cashing them in on senseless BS that is easy to forget about is the best way to burn through em. "What ya thinking about?" Usually ends better than "Does this make me look fat?"

Also, by all means, don’t act like a “Creeper” when trying to address a “safety concern”……. with WOMEN riders. You proved me wrong when I said you wouldn't answer. I welcome/acknowledge/appreciate/respect that. Thank you. We agree on all 3 counts: euc riders should be considerate of the safety of others, people should not be obnoxiously authoritarian about telling people how to ride and that women should feel no concerns for their safety (physical, social or otherwise). Everyone who would like to take part in EUC's should be encouraged into this fun, worthwhile activity. So many of us have had our lives improved by EUC's. People have made friends, seen new sights and found health (physical and mental). Just out of simple gratitude, why not strive to make EUC-life welcoming? Or at least not make it threatening or unsafe. To me, that was the point of this thread. It matters quite a lot so I am glad for the debate.

World wide interactions with people who are not afraid to be opinionated, is a great learning tool and I am grateful to everyone who participates. I truly do enjoy the opportunity. I also appreciate the civility(sometimes not so civil) of this place. I do hope that people also find use, knowledge and entertainment as I do. Not just this wandering thread, but most ALL threads. *my wife quit asking what I was thinking, long ago. Don't open pandora's box around here.... Paul A
Comment from the youtube creator "isthereanyfood" from video. isthereanyfood 1 month ago Well said Shane. And yes... like you say she is wearing more gear than usual after her fall 3 weeks ago.. protecting the parts that need more protection. Good news.. she won't be needing hand surgery so she will simply be doing some rehab for the hand. Her face has healed well and there is just a tiny, tiny scar below her cheekbone. Now she looks like a girl who rides EUCs. My fingertip still hurts though lol... so that will take some time to heal. Probably a fracture but I don't use that part of my finger much anyway. Not sure another member expressing concern should be interpreted as: "Hard-On guilt" "Safety police" "Lovelorn male feminist; just looking out for her "safety" "want to be the savior for a woman who already has a MAN to be “her daddy” "have ZERO respect for a woman’s personal agency and autonomy" Protective gear might be advisable even if: "What if Morgan’s girlfriend is an athlete" "things like “good balance” and how to “fall correctly” are skills that come quite natural to her" "Some might be people be actually smarter and even more skilled than some of y’all" "she is just that good on an EUC as not need all of that Ironman gear"

Popular Post UniVehje
This thread has become a place for immature personal attacks and off topic banter. The topic itself has been discussed through and a new thread can be started on safety and public opinion past reference to one video. Please don’t carry any arguments to other topics.
Popular Post meepmeepmayer
I want to thank the people who did their best and heroically steered this thread back to topic so often. But ultimately, this was going nowhere, especially if the video in question is no longer available. Please do start a new discussion if there is a related (and EUC-related!) topic you want to dicuss
