I too eventually rolled mine back to 1.07 as well as the feeling of infinite torque when climbing impossibly steep hills trumps the feeling of effortless acceleration in the 40-50kph range for me. Wish KS would have switchable modes, high torque low speed limited to 50kph and low torque high speed limited to 60kph. Would be hell of a game changer. Understand that whether your wheel is geared for torque or speed is mostly decided by the motor windings and magnet size, but 2.00 on the 18XL and ninebot speed mods shows that changing the riding feel with firmware alone is at least possible to a limited extent.

Have you ridden on 2.03? I'm going for a big ride today to test the range and feel differences and if I don't like it I'll go back to 1.07 , only reason I don't like 1.07 is that i can't change the pedal angle in the app otherwise I love 1.07,, what have you noticed with 2.03?

Just done 35 miles and 20% battery remaining want a bad ride i think i still prefer the feeling of 1.07 so I might roll back, pedals just seem better on 1.07 ,, wasn't bad though

As a fellow Relive user, I appreciate it when people take the time to add plenty of pics and descriptions, so you suddenly find yourself wanting to go ride along the Leeds/Liverpool canal BTW, I like that pad setup you've got going on with the 16X. Did you cut holes in the EUC BG?

Did you cut holes in the EUC BG? Yes I cut holes in the bodyguard i thought it would of gone loose but the bodyguard is tight ,I like to make my own pads for my riding style as I have them on at different positions, I also put some 3d printed flypads on with velcro plus the bodyguard hides any mess https://i.ibb.co/1ryk75K/image-196f0f0a-0f3b-4683-9132-be0ab3e926f4.jpg Ps! It appears that Imgbb doesn't provide direct links anymore, so now so you have to edit the link after pasting it, remove the html wrapping and leave only the "https://address-to-your-pic.jpg" bit. Sometimes the forum fails to recognise it, so cutting the image address, deleting the rest and then pasting tends to work 😉

So from the link from imgbb, blue is what you keep and red what you do without: Or just use a different image hosting service hehe In any case, I really like that pad setup you've got! And great that the EUC BG doesn't move around! Those look nice and soft too with the textile "wrapping" you've got on them. Very nice! Thanks for the idiot guide I needed it😄 I did think when I was cutting the bodyguard if it moved about I'll just put a spot of velcro on

davinche
So what's new with the firmware? I just upgraded today but haven't had the chance to go out for a ride yet.

What that means and whether there are any changes to torque delivery, riding dynamics, etc., is anyone's guess, so it's up to folks who have already installed it to tell the rest of us...

I did 35 miles on 2.03 I didn't really notice any difference i just know I like the feel of the pedals on 1.07 , every firmware i have tried seems to be different feeling on the pedals , maybe its just my riding style that I prefer 1.07 ,, I've not changed it back yet but overall it was a nice ride like any other firmware apart from 1.08 lol Here's the vid Edited November 12, 2020 by stephen

Nuno Esteves
Well, I already ride a good kms with version 2.03 and in the meantime downgraded to 2.02. I think the wheel was too soft with 2.03, but it may have just been my impression. Besides, I didn't notice any difference.

EUC Custom Power-Pads
You mean the different pedals modes or pedal angle adjustment or the or the calibration process? Please be specific, because nobody have the time to explain everything without asking a specific question.
Tawpie
I decided to try 2.0.3 on my 16XS and noticed a very slight grinding sensation at about 10MPH. It's definitely not quite the way it was before—anyone else experience this? Weather permitting I'll take it out again tomorrow on a different road to see if the sensation might have just been the road. But I am curious if anyone else noticed anything like this… I theoretically like the idea of charging optimizations (whatever that actually means) but not if it did something unexpected. Grazie. Have you been able to replicate your initial findings? Remember you can always downgrade if you're not pleased with the new FW
