  1. EcoDrift has some pictures of the T4 30.6kg. Exposed motor cable. Shitty headlight. They do like the Master design philosophy. They really like the suspension. As usual, their main concern is water protection. Also this is a funny quote about the mudguard:
  2. Gotta love the googly eyes look of the headlights (which appear to be the same crap as always, also of course no proper back light). Commander Pro is like "Uh oh..." No continuous mud guard covering the tire and protecting the top box from the inside - Sherman-S does it better. I do like the looks, very simple and less aggressive than the Sherman-S. Haha true. I always loved how Begode didn't build wheels, but built standardized parts and then they could quickly build wheels from those. Meanwhile, other manufacturers need a year for one single model (as you correctly pointed out in the Sherman-S topic). But this is even faster. Or the world's most coincidental coincidence, them having a linkless suspension design like on the Sherman-S (we'll see how similar it is going to be).
  3. Holy shit, does Begode have spies inside Leaperkim/Veteran, or are these only renderings as a result of the Sherman-S info coming out? Because that speed is astonishing.
  4. @litewaveOk, if you ask Moved it. @LingegnerNot sure if you will find much help about an escooter on this forum (about electric unicycles), but maybe someone knows the answer.
  5. Shell looks very robust. No roll cage needed. Though it was a great place to add on stuff, and looked unique. Here's a look at the suspension from the video:
  6. What Amazon seller? You will get your money back, right? People automatically buy stuff on Amazon, but I think for EUCs a dedicated dealer really is much better.
  7. @Joseph BanProblems with your other account, or do you just have two? Let us mods know if we can help with something.
  8. A mini EUC house, with a wheel heater M50T you mean? Those are the dangerous ones, so good you did this.
  9. That can happen even with very low tire pressure. You only really see that the pressure is too low when you stand on the wheel and someone else sees that the tire is flat/squished.
  10. What's that in horseshoes-glowing-at-the-color-of-a-whale-oil-lamp units? 150°C for everyone else
  11. Important: despite the ewheels info, only battery packs with LG M50T cells are dangerous. LG M50LT cells are good. (the ewheels pdf attached above erroneously mentions M50LT's.)
  12. 134V would have automatically given a bigger battery (2400Wh) or a possibily-too-weak battery configuration (or needed high discharge cells with even less capacity then). It would just have been a Master with a smaller tire (I'm not saying that is bad, to the contrary, I'd prefer a 16 inch Master over the bigger one). I assume they wanted to keep the price (and size and weight) down and went with their tried and tested 100V 1800Wh setup. Nothing wrong with it, I acknowledge it probably is the reasonable choice, but understandable that some find that disappointing with 134V out now. I'm not so sure that is because of problems (the Master didn't have board problems right?). I think they just try to use cheaper components. They certainly did that with the latest Master board revision.
  13. Wheels with speakers can play sounds, but it's not like that is needed. Just a bicycle bell (one of those finger bells) on your wrist guards or belt is enough. It's just like a bicycle. You have one tire instead of two, but also all the weight on that tire so more grip. Unless it's ice/wet leaves/wet wood and the like, you'll be good. Wet roads certainly are no problem. EUCs tend to have surprisingly much grip. And with a knobby tire, even loose gravel/mud feels like solid ground (even a regular tire can do this though).
  14. EUCs are silent and make no noise You accelerate exactly as hard as you lean. Any EUC has to follow what you do. A weak one will just be overpowered sooner, but for slow speeds, this isn't going to happen anyways. So fundamentally there is no difference between weaker and stronger wheels in this respect, how you lean determines everything. And every EUC can be very finely controlled, don't worry about that. Do not learn on grass, counterintuitively it is much harder and generally a bad idea. You need a nice hard surface with low rolling resistance and nothing around that could make you scared you could hit it (so that you are relaxed).
  15. That's a really good question! My answer is: Yes, I think there are benefits. I don't believe performance EUCs have better braking ability (at least in a way that matters much, as you just go slower anyways on entry level wheels), and the smaller ones are perfectly fine. Sure, you could argue a strong and fast wheel allows you to get out of a spicy situation or whatnot, but I don't see these practical arguments as truly important. The real benefit (in my view) is: fun! A strong EUC will just be more fun! For example, when I tried (long ago) the V8 (old wheel), it was nice and perfectly capable and all, but it felt a bit meek compared to my ACM (old wheel) which just has way more oomph. If the V8 was all EUCs had to offer, I'd have given up on them because it's just meh. Not bad at all, just not exciting to me either. No comparison to a strong EUC purring below your feet that is like "LET'S GO B*TCH!" on your slightest input I guess this distinction is more between entry level wheels and all the others. If a wheel can go 40kph or more, it's probably on the safe side unless you are very heavy. But performance is just fun. I always recommend people get their "forever wheel" right away so they don't potentially miss out on what is possible.
  16. You can edit now, I think it is disabled for brand new members. Either it's 3 dots in the top right corner of the first post, or some option between the title and the first post. Also, thanks for actually reading the pinned posts
  17. Begode giveth and Begode taketh away Who needs performance margins when you can have the cheaper part.
  18. Didn't know Begode makes these themselves, I thought it's only an ewheels thing.
  19. I also thought this only concerns LG M50T cells. ewheels mentions LG M50LT though. Typing error, or is this cell also dangerous? Probably a typo, but I don't know for sure.
  20. Not sure why this has Samsung 40T cells (4000mAh only but high discharge). New battery size (1900Wh) or coincidence?
  21. EcoDrift looks at what they call the 3rd batch. https://ecodrift-ru.translate.goog/2022/08/30/begode-master-razbiraem-3-yuyu-inkarnatsiyu/?_x_tr_sl=ru&_x_tr_tl=en Build quality is a bit disappointing to me, though.
