(And by Begode I meant Extreme Bull, of course They definitely share some DNA.)

What is a "semi-hot melt tire"? Some weird translation of a tire type indicating quality? Poor Begode. With other manufacturers wising up to their copy machine and not giving info on new wheels until they are close to giving them to testers, Begode's announcements can only be very sparse. Basically they confirmed that they were working on a 168V board and the rest is "We'll see what we can come up with, brb".

My Inmotion V14 Adventure Trials, Tribulations, and Triumphs
meepmeepmayer replied to Marty Backe's topic in Inmotion
Can you check the full battery voltage? Maybe the Adventure doesn't charge to the full voltage, just like the V13, you made a video about that. -
This wheel is just two old 84V MSupers in a trenchcoat

Umm... I might have bad news for you, depending how much you care. See the screenshot of this forum below. But it seems to be in order of account creation, at least. Anyways, carry on #16729

Hi. You know the beeping has in important purpose, right? Just saying
-
That's Begode how we know and love them Announcing an update of their not-yet-released wheel and one-upping the competition right after they did their own announcement, this time all in one. (Yes, I know it's not technically Begode, but in spirit is certainly is.) 168V isn't truly confirmed, right? But what else would it be with that battery size. 5p 134V, I think not! Sweet!

Leaperkim Lynx 2700wh: 151V, 20" tire, suspension, 89lb
meepmeepmayer replied to RagingGrandpa's topic in LeaperKim (Veteran)
I wonder if there is significance to "LeaperKim Lynx" instead of "Veteran Lynx". Did they drop the Veteran brand? Is it only used for wheels named after tanks? Is this just a coincidence? Also, I don't like the price. Almost as much as the Sherman-S. Sure, you pay for the speed this baby (hopefully) has, but >4000 is just high in absolute terms for a 2700Wh wheel. Finally, I totally forgot that we have about 3 days before Begode announce a higher voltage (or at least same voltage) new model. This is another benefit of this wheel! -

Sweet Lord. 125kph and 2cm wide charge ports! Not that I need either, but it's great to see the tech improving and nobody going "well X is enough". I wasn't worried about that. I just felt like maybe they developed this faster than their previous two wheels (well with the black official picture now I see no difference any longer.). No judgement intended. -

It's a Patton XL! Looks nice though. And a bit more ad-hoc compared to Patton and Sherman-S. I wonder if that's just the grey color of the shell, or if they maybe took a bit of inspiration from Begode's rapid iteration methodology and went faster in designing this wheel. -

Heyo. Linked below you can find a little general summary on what to look for when buying a used wheel (second part of the post). It's not much, but good to know. For this wheel... $800 really is suspiciously extremely cheap. Any honest and trustworthy seller will give you all the information you want, just ask, and they will be generous with information. Conversely, people who are stingy with information or give conflicting answers are probably trouble. Just check all the topics pinned to the top of the "Private Sales" forum to get an idea (we mods might have to organize all that stuff a little better... some day).

An upcoming new version of Begode T4 (T4 pro)
meepmeepmayer replied to Chris7708's topic in Begode (Gotway)
No, that is just the normal Begode "rolling release" kind of wheel development. -
Leaperkim Lynx 2700wh: 151V, 20" tire, suspension, 89lb
meepmeepmayer replied to RagingGrandpa's topic in LeaperKim (Veteran)
Oh so it's 20 inch. Cool. And understandable - the most popular tire size (at least among enthusiasts) but they have no "normal" battery size, just the expensive Sherman-S which not everyone may want. I hope they offer a 4000Wh 6p version, too. Would be a nice Sherman-S successor with a much higher voltage. -

meepmeepmayer replied to RagingGrandpa's topic in LeaperKim (Veteran)
151.2V 2700Wh makes sense, it's 36s4p, so that part works out. What exactly does 18'' mean here? 12 inch rim (like Patton, which is often called "18 inch") or 14 (like Sherman-S, with the traditional "18/20 inch" tires)? Any other information? -
Begode Master turns on, but wheel won't self-right/engage
meepmeepmayer replied to SciFi's topic in Begode (Gotway)
Sounds like it is in transport mode. This exists so wheels won't accidentally turn on and spin up in the packaging. Here's how to disable the transport mode: -

What are your thoughts on the Adventure?
meepmeepmayer replied to NOSFET Electric Dreams's topic in Inmotion
The S18 is battery-limited in its power delivery. Something like an S19/S22 (not sure how much better their power limitations are) or a Begode Master (cheap to get nowadays! And Begode doesn't believe in limitations) or the upcoming Commander GT should do the trick. (All have the same tire size.) You could get a smaller tire wheel with more torque (like the Patton, or the Inmotion Adventure), but the bigger tire like on the S18 might work better for your use case. You can ignore motor power numbers, they mean pretty much nothing for real life behavior of wheels. -
@disordinaryAll good, you are unbanned now. Quote: Spammers can be quite insidious nowadays, so mods have to be careful. I assume there's way more spam on Discord than here, too. So don't blame them, it's a balance act
