  1. Im sure someone is going to reuse that bracket and print a better seat/trolley for that mount. That seat is so dinky, definitely not comfortable enough but atleast its something
  2. I legit don't understand why the T4 has been out for 2 years now and no other company has made a lightweight, 1800wh, 16" suspension wheel. The s16 is the only that comes close. Time and time again begode wins purely because nobody else makes wheels of a certain category. The market seems to have given up on smaller wheels. We need a lineup refresh on smaller suspension wheels. This upcoming inmotion wheel seems promising. I am looking for a wheel inbetween my EX30 and mten. Either this wheel or the E25 might be it
  3. I am 65kg and I think the master and s22 are a great weight for a comfortable ride feel. The s22 weight is much more lower and handles way better than the master I think more manufacturers should put a focus on weight distribution. From what ElectricDreams says about the balance of the s22 being rear heavy, it seems there is understanding of weight distribution and not just purely trying to make the wheel as light as possible. Coming from the EX30, I realize you can have a heavier wheel that still handles nice like a lighter wheel. Id rather have a low center of gravity heavier wheel than a lighter top heavy wheel
  4. I didnt ride offroad or anything, gravel paths at most. I mostly ride between 60-75kmh cruising with the occasional slow groupride. At 7000km the tire still had plenty of tread left actually. Its just the tire started forming lumps between the treads where it mustve been structurally compromised. If there werent any lumps, that tire probably would have lasted another 2000km no problem
  5. I very recently switched to the IRC NR77 tire. My cst lasted 7000km. The cst street tire is probably still my favorite tire on the EX30 rim. Its got so much gyro effect to stay centered, but also corners beautifully with a V profile. Other tires sit on the rim with more of a U shape unless you add rim spacers. Grip was great as the tire was softer than tires like the michelin pilot 2, but that's also why it didn't last as long
  6. I believe it is also firmware dependent as I was also getting about 13-15% overreport. I updated to one of their newer firmwares earlier this year and now with the cst6501 street tire seemed to be about the same correction as the Lynx. I ride side by side with my buddy on a Lynx and get the same wheel speed which is about 8% overreport vs GPS speed
  7. With the mten4 being more compact, and the falcon just one step above the mten5, the local response hasn't been people rushing to sell their mten4 and go for a shiny new mten5. Some odd design choices for giving this the mten5 name. I am mixed feeling on this announcement. The mten5 and falcon seem to be similar in freespin speed though, but the mten5 is still 84v while the falcon is 100v Seems like they are using the axle of the A2 instead of the mten mini alxe design.
  8. Upgrades seem to be more powerful tile type motor, DS200 shock and higher freespin speed in race mode. I thought the T4 pro had 50S cells, but I guess its only on the T4 max
  9. Probably not too much since he only really rides with a helmet, or no gear at all lol
  10. No amount of proper torque specs, maintenance or upgraded bracket is going to solve that problem of a weak subpar material axle. The way it crumbled there looks like the axle is just made from cast aluminum rather than a solid cnc piece. The threading that the screws go into is completely ripped out. The failure point is a combination of the axle and bracket. The screws didnt shear off at all it was the axle
  11. Looks much better than the initial leaks. Seems like the voltage arms race is continuing to keep going higher which I am not a big fan of. We are past the point of diminishing returns in terms of performance. Excited to see what this wheel has in store though
  12. Not the first time I have heard of leaperkim wheels being susceptible to unexplainable interference issues. I have heard a few cases where sherman max's just take off in a mall while being trolley'd Also I heard reports to avoid using headlights with a wattage higher than 35w. When your headlight draws more power than 35w it interferes with the board and is likely the cause of the headlight tilt issue that some Lynx units had. Couldnt be fixed by a firmware update but Leaperkim suggests replacing the headlight
  13. Someone here also has the same issue and their s16 wont charge past 70%. Kingsong sending out a replacement battery pack. It seems alot of these s16 have bad batteries. The bms firmware they shipped out with allowed the battery packs to phantom drain until they were dead packs. Retailers were getting shipments where half the s16s had to be trickle charged for the batteries to be revived and I guess some of the batteries degraded because of this.
  14. Nothing is wrong with riding 20kmh on sidewalks. Im saying if you show your nearest police office people blasting 90kmh on roads, runnning reds, carving through cars and pedestrains, then everyone is painted bad. Including the innocent riders going respectfully on the sidewalk at low speed. Its not a good look overall and we shouldnt be putting focus on problem riders
  15. Agreed. We should aim to educate our local politicians on the positive aspects of how these devices are useful and changed our lives. Show them the benefits instead of singling out the problematic riders. Showing problematic riders will make us look bad no matter what. As someone else mentioned on here, it shouldnt matter what you're riding. We have to be responsible and promote that image
