EUC ride on Legacy Trail (Sarasota, Florida)
meepmeepmayer replied to Banzai Bob's topic in Local Group Meet Ups
This is a neat idea! I made your topic's title a bit more specific so interested people won't overlook it. -
Eeeek! This list is more than two or three entries long (the ones I remember hearing about)! Not good! Thanks for dong this, though! Unsurprisingly, most of these are really car accidents, not "EUC accidents" as they are called. Worth it to keep that in mind.

As you can see, we now have a separate forum for Extreme Bull, the Begode offshoot! Although these companies use common parts and work together, there are now confusingly many different wheels between the two, and the forum for them all got a bit crowded. Over the next few days, we mods will try to move all Extreme Bull topics from the Begode forum to here (I just cleared the first few pages of the Begode forum). Feel free to report any topic that we may have missed, and we will move it. Enjoy!

Selling second hand V12 HT in Australia
meepmeepmayer replied to kiren's topic in Private Sales (secondhand)
Hi! I put this into its own thread, as you were using old (very old) existing threads. That was nice of you, but it's not necessary, and you'll have more success with this own topic of yours. -

Loving EUCs and moving from NY to Utah
meepmeepmayer replied to Merc.Z39's topic in General Discussion
Hello. I moved this post of yours into its own thread, as it was in an unrelated 3 year old ewheels topic Oh yes! A lot of riders had that experience. EUCs are just fun. -
The voltage measurement isn't as exact as one would think. Also, even if it's right, the voltage per cell is above the standard but still perfectly fine. As for distance measurements, the manufacturers blatantly overestimate (one could say lie) about the range. If you are 50kg, ride at 15kph in 25+ degrees weather maybe you can get that range. But range always highly depends on the rider's speed and weight (and some other factors like temperature), so you can always only ever have a rough estimate. And Darknessbot estimates certainly closer to ground truth than the laughable Inmotion app claim. In short, looks like everything is exactly as it should be with your new wheel

Do you sell these?

"Pro" just seems to be the Molicel version, going by the selection there. Not sure what the "V2" entails. Was there a V2 before?
-
Yep, 148 (4x37) cells, this is a 155.4V (typo in the spec sheet) wheel, this comes out exactly to 3.7V*5Ah*148 cells = 2738Wh. Weird, but why not. (Or rather: weird that they didn't go 168V right away!) The 60kg refers to a possible rider, not the wheel weight. We don't know the weight of this wheel. Of course it won't be light. (Please no unnecessary general weight discussion here, we all know the usual suspects' stances.)

Begode Master V2 shaking violently
meepmeepmayer replied to blerti zhuta's topic in Mods, Repairs, & DIY
I think your board is just in the process of dying and you need a new one. That's usually the explanation for "unexplained crazy behavior". I don't think any silicone can fix this, this would only help when the board is very very lightly loose and would therefore slightly move. 10 degrees is way way way beyond that. -
Begode Master V2 shaking violently

Does the wheel still balance? Is the tire rotating freely/normally when the wheel is off, or does it seem "locked"? -
For anybody reading, most of this thread is 5 years old, just fyi

Already Wanting to Upgrade from my V8S
meepmeepmayer replied to frownifdown's topic in Which Electric Unicycle to get?
The V11Y is great, as will be pretty much any other even more powerful wheel. Go by price and by which model you simply just like. You will wear a full face helmet and other gear (wrist guards, knee pads), right? That's the important thing at the stage you seem to be at. -
You can "edit" your post and change the title. It's in the menu behind the three red dots of the first post.

The small tire diameter limits the speed you can go in relaxed comfort too much. Stability is determined by the tire diameter, not tire width. While you can certainly go long distance on an mten, I wouldn't want to do it when it's not for fun but to get somewhere (maybe in time), especially a repeated commute. Better get a wheel where you can go a little faster and not have to constantly mind every tiny pothole and obstruction like you would on an mten - which just means a bigger tire diameter. People are right, a V10F is probably the lower end of what would work for you, simply because your weight demands some power. A more powerful wheel (probably used, to lower the price) is my recommendation. If you can get a V11 for a good price, then you even have suspension. (Note on the Begode RS: don't get one unless the seller definitely proves (battery pack photo) it does not use LG M50T battery cells. These cells were shortly used back then and are prone to sudden fires, so this is something to keep in mind with the RS. Any other cell type, like LG M50LT, is fine. Minus the battery concern, an RS would be a great and powerful wheel for you - just without suspension, but it should hit your price point.)
