Cerbera
Interesting - haven't seen the 2-wheels-side-by-side thing since the original Airwheel Q series. Wondered when someone would give that another go... Certainly nice being able to remain stationary without getting down, but looks-wise... ewww; they found a way to make EUCs look frumpy ! Aekainal
Not an EUC, not for EUC riders, just a self-balancing vehicle for the general people.

Eucner
Not for enthusiasts, but this will be legal for riding on sidewalks in the EU.
daniel1234
Why would anybody get this over floatwheel / onewheel vesc clones? Segway had some cool factor I just don't see this as "fun".
Asphalt
Who would join the Kickstarter on the E20, when the E20S and E25 are slated to come out 3 and 6 months later? On a positive note, it is nice to see a manufacturer trying to expand the rider base beyond enthusiasts. If cheap enough, the E-series could be the gatwey to EUCs for the mass market. I can see dicycles being used as an eScooter alternative. If they become popular, you could even see these being part of a scooter-share program. Whereas EUCs would never have a chance in a scooter-share scenario.

But then, how do I know that inmotionworld.net is actually InMotion from inmotionworld.com ? Why would InMotion launch a kickstarter? Popular Post Chris Chaput
I have a V3 Pro from inMotion and it has two wheels side-by-side. It's great for someone who has never tried to mount an electric unicycle because they can succeed within minutes. The biggest problem is twofold - they don't turn easily and they don't go straight well. Seriously, to really turn you have to commit to leaning it over until it's riding on just the inside wheel. It's easy (albeit weird) for an EUC rider but it's a little terrifying for a newbie to leave the comfort of having two wheels down. Early turns are therefore done by just putting pressure on the inside wheel making it "smaller" than the outside wheel that has less weight on it. You kind of creep around making big wide turns. Going straight it kind of has this "tracking" feeling that an EUC rider isn't used to. The wheel isn't as nimble and doesn't easily do the small "adjustment" turns that one does to balance when going straight. I don't want to completely throw it under the bus because they put an amazing number of refined features into the wheel. The trolly handle is flush and stylish, it has speakers, a USB port, a nice headlight and tail light, a spring loaded sliding charge port with a Lenovo connector, a dual (front/back) kickstand, a stylish shell with a two-tone look, an 84V charger and it's own vinyl cover. It has a trippy touch sensor on/off switch and sometimes when you turn it on it leaps to its feet and stays upright on its own. If/when you are overpowering the wheel it will talk to you and tell you to slow down. I got it because I knew that I would be teaching complete newbies to ride a wheel, and in that respect it has been great. I don't like that I have to keep TWO wheels inflated and that it's weak and slow and only has a 160Wh battery pack, but a newbie doesn't need speed, power and range. A newbie wants to make progress and RIDE at first, and that's what this wheel does better than just about everything. https://www.youtube.com/shorts/mg5VGodaH0k 3
Robse
When I first saw this I was sure it was either an AI botched joke, an April fool, or just an engineer gone mad. I still don't get it. That page is so full of ridiculous claims and crazy remarks that you can't believe it could be true. And I still think it's a joke. The 2-wheel thing has been tried before. It was not a success and it NEVER will be .
Robse
I know what it is!! It's a engineers nightmare come true. A Easter egg on wheels ! or A inverse kinder egg !

It will be almost as difficult to ride as a normal EUC (and possible a lot more difficult on uneven ground) but without all the fun and nimbleness that a normal EUC possesses. What a terrible choice. DavidB
Just looks like a reskinned V3. To me the V3 is visually nicer. The E20 looks like something from The Island set.
Popular Post Hsiang
well, I am going to come clean and say that I might have been responsible for this uhh wheel. I had the chance to speak to Bob 2 years ago when he was still the CEO of inmotion, and he had asked for suggestions and this double wheel configuration was what I brought up. Now I did say that ideally I really want a tilting two wheels design with independent suspensions, which would allow a similar EUC ride feel while still allowing the possibility of locking them so that someone who's new would have an easier time learning. This is a terribly complex challenge and I had only seem it in advance robotic labs, but I honestly think would be an interesting leap for EUC. But short of that I also think the static 2 wheels configuration in a low power/ low speed model is still a great idea because it solve 2 major problems with growing the EUC market; the steep learning curve and high price. If the E20 and deliver on the promise of being cheap enough (sub $500 in my mind) and actually be easy for anyone to jump on and ride. Then I think its appeal as a "fun toy" could potentially have a much larger mass appeal than $3-4k beast wheels that seems to take up a large chunk of the market right now. I'll probably make a review in a few weeks if I manage to get a hold of a demo! 2 1

UniVehje
I was hoping that 20 in E20 was referring to size. Well, I’m still waiting for a new 18/20” Inmotion wheel. This one is not for us on this forum. But it might be popular among normies and bring in money to develop higher end wheels for us.

Not sure why It would be better this time around. When I was starting out, I would have never consider it. From my perspective, the only possible use for such a wheel would be to help me learn to ride a proper euc. But since people can learn on regular euc's, I have no need for it. Just by gauging by family and relative reactions to euc's, the E20 does not in any way help remove the obstacles that push these people away from riding euc's. UniVehje
It is only on Kickstarter. So it might never be made if the idea doesn’t sell there.
