  1. How 2 die 3 km/h more than you old record?
  2. I did wear that helmet on the way down when we were gong faster than 15 km/h But too hot on the way up, also I still hate helmets, trying to get used to them.
  3. Still is a bit steeper in reality than it looks in videos *incline brag*
  4. 5 miles in 3 minutes = 100 mph. I was confused at first by the title
  5. You know these horror movies where the protagonists have themselves locked in somewhere (for protection) and suddenly realize the bad guy must be one of them and is in there with them?! This is how I feel about @Marty Backe's cool posing photos. They're nice and everything, but... who is making these photos? Just kidding, It's probably a tripod, but a tripod with really good framing... or is it? What's the camera, are these stills from the gopro?
  6. You're quite fast on these roads with your Monster. On camera, speed always looks so slow, but yours looked very respectable. What would you say was your speed on the main roads?
  7. Looks like you have many wheels, but only one true love
  8. Just checked my wheel's photos, and I have that too. The end of the number (visible in the photos) does not match the motor code or serial number on the label. Not sure what's going on... not sure if the "real" date is the one on the box or the one on the sticker inside the wheel.
  9. Very funny (and you're quite skilled as well!). That California Roll happens to me too occasionally
  10. @craioSorry to hear you have this problem now 29th April is indeed in the dangerous date zone. I would get as much specific information as possible from the seller. Did Gotway simply promise him "nono this wheel is fine" (they apparently lied to other sellers), did he get more specific information, can he specifically guarantee the wheel was reflashed, etc. Ask him "On what information do you base that my wheel is fine?". Other than that, wear protection until things are more clear I see you have a 67V wheel (820Wh), not sure if these were affected. @Jason McNeil Do you know if 67V Gotways were affected by the oscillation bug?
  11. Offtopic, and for the record: On Gotways, the pedal arm directly forms an open channel through the shell to the low-lying board (ACM, msuper V3). While shortly riding through deeper water (above pedal height) might have worked because water had no time to get in due to the current from moving, even standing in that depth for a while should guarantee fried electronics. Have a look at the geometry of your Gotways. Is the wheel ok????!!!!! Good you were wearing protection when speeding as a new rider
  12. Really loving the lines of the Monster Such a nice shape And purple is best color
  13. Not sure if such a wide tire even makes sense. From the looks of it, only the center circumference will actually touch the ground on any but extremely soft surfaces. Are such tires commonly used for some application? A standard, big profile mountainbike-like tire (not sure what it is) like @Joey Serrin uses might be better for offroad in the end (but of course has much higher rolling resistance than the more road-tire-like one on the Z). But who knows, maybe this tire makes sense, looking forward to impressions of the Z in the wild!
  14. People, listen to this man Video really gives a much better impression of places than photos Pump, pliers, screwdrivers, knifes - pretty cool!
  15. Technically this is in Austria But the border is along the mountain you have to imagine to the left, which we circled, so we had about 50% Austria, 50% Germany. Both sides were nice German side had cooler names though: we went through a long ravine with a nice creek, but it's called Elendgraben (trench of hardship) and later changes the name to Totengraben (trench of the dead). Any guesses whether this used to be a fun place in the past? -- 4 more pictures. I didn't take too many, @Tilmann has the better phone so he must have them all Steep road, cows right at it, lying and dozing in the afternoon sun, kids playing with them, one little girl sitting on a cow! Also the kids checking out our EUCs. A bit further up, where I scouted for some future tour options.
  16. 70km mountain ride with @Tilmann (who drove for 3 hours one way to meet!). Teaser photo, more probably coming soon.
  17. Unfortunately, no Unless some other manufacturer can be assed to give us batteries that are significantly over 1000Wh, Gotway could do absolutely nothing and still have a lot of sales, simply for that unique selling point. I'd buy a 2400Wh Monster over ANY <1000Wh wheel, no matter how good otherwise. What's even more infuriating, there's absolutely no good reason other manufacturers stay at or below 1000Wh, they simply refuse to offer bigger battery options! Looking at you, KS18, there's enough space in that big shell for more than 1680Wh.
  18. @Marty Backe That was @YoshiSkySun. To be fair, my question does not make much sense, after all the face is already healed. But I was wondering if this was an old or a recent occurence.
  19. Aren't FCC, CE etc. only self-certifications that only ensure the very basics: device does not electrocute people or radiate crazy radio waves and such stuff? Does this usually take long?
  20. Weren't there rumors of it being called "Tesla" and therefore having those 20700s? Apparently just rumors...thing is ugly anyways so who cares
  21. Oopsie, confused this and the Gotway 16' thing which has 20700s I believe. 16850 18650 it is then. Then maybe (unlike in the video) the cells are transversal (like on the V8). Makes no sense but the rounded top of the battery is confusing.
  22. Not my video. Some Russians (?) comparing Solowheel and generics and think the Solowheel is the best. Nicely made otherwise. Starts like this: This wheel looks like a generic... Oh wait it's a Solowheel Classic Solowheel wipes out/overleans on normal braking.
  23. Not sure if I'm missing a joke here, but it's the new Ninebot One Z. Also discussion here, and 2 new Gotway models can be seen.
  24. Yep, the outermost grey thing seems to be the battery, and you can see it has a bulge towards the inside. It look asymmetric (bulge almost goes to the bottom, but not to the top. Like this: In the end, it's only 500Wh per side max, not that much space needed. The 20700 should also be slightly more space-efficient. And two layers are only 4cm thick. -- offtopic: What are the usual specs on the 20700 cells? 0% voltage = ? 100% voltage = ? Nominal voltage = ? Capacity = ??? mAh?
