Standing at the farthest eastern tip of the old downtown of Passau, looking east towards where the Danube enters Austria:

(To the left, coming from behind me, is the Danube, and coming from the right is the river Inn. This is where the Inn ends and becomes part of the Danube)

I cant be 100% sure of course, but I may very well be the first and so far only person in the world who has ever ridden the whole German part of the Danube Cycle Path on an electric unicycle.

So last Tuesday my trusty V11 and I went on a two-day trip, from just south of Wasserburg in Germany to Innsbruck in Austria, following the Inn River cycle path the whole way.

The first couple of meters on the Innradweg proper, a couple kilometers south of Wasserburg, at Attel:

The mountains are getting closer:

Some of the views were more scenic and spectacular than I had been anticipating, This is just a couple of kms north of Rosenheim:

The center of the small town of Neubeuern that I visited because meepmeepmayer had recommended it to me so much. And it is a very pretty town center indeed:

A view of the Inn between Rosenheim and Kufstein:

This huge cliff forces the Inn into an almost 90° turn, from south to west, with the city of Kiefersfelden, directly north of the Austrian border, on the inside of the bend:

Entering Kufstein, with the formidable castle sitting high above the town:

I spent the night in Schwoich, a little village around 6 kms south of Kufstein.

To be continued...

edit: ooops, doesnt the forum display directly linked pictures? Well they ought to be viewed full screen screen anyway.

Found another EUC wheeling around on Google Maps street view. Randomly looking at a PEV rental place and when I went looked around the area in street view I happened to spot a familiar looking mono wheeled device in use! Brings back the memories cuz that's how I learned too, in a big ol' empty parking lot!
