The data is stating that there was a very large spike of around 500k deaths, in 2020, above the previous year.

The previous five years show a relatively stable total, deviations not really that extraordinary.

What is the plausible explanation for this highly unusual spike, if not Covid, which hit the USA hard in March 2020?

Incidentally, the increase only accounts for the nine months (not a full year) of Covid from March onwards.

I'm sure a myriad of factors, not limited to but including covid :)

Byram Bridle’s claim that COVID-19 vaccines are toxic fails to account for key differences between the spike protein produced during infection and vaccination, misrepresents studies

CLAIM
“Terrifying new research finds vaccine spike protein unexpectedly in [the] bloodstream. The protein is linked to blood clots, heart and brain damage”

DETAILS
Unsupported: Findings from recent studies suggested that the spike protein from the virus that causes COVID-19 might damage blood vessels, but data are still preliminary. The effect of spike protein in infected animals can’t be extrapolated to vaccine-derived spike protein in humans.
Misrepresents source: None of the studies reported harmful effects from spike protein produced by COVID-19 vaccination. On the contrary, one study suggested that COVID-19 vaccines targeting the spike protein might prevent blood vessel damage.
Lack of context: The spike protein produced by COVID-19 vaccination behaves differently from spike protein produced during infection. While some spike protein produced through vaccination might enter the bloodstream, it is at a much lower level compared to the amount associated with damage in infected animals.

Verdict:  Misleading

Quite a few papers cited here:

Worth keeping an open mind on. It's just possible that they too could all be wrong of course, all of the authors cited, and that there is nothing to it.

Fourth COVID vaccine shot raises resistance to serious illness for over-60s: Israel

JERUSALEM, Jan 23 (Reuters) - A fourth dose of COVID-19 vaccine given to people over 60 in Israel made them three times more resistant to serious illness than thrice-vaccinated people in the same age group, Israel's Health Ministry said on Sunday.

The ministry also said the fourth dose, or second booster, made people over 60 twice as resistant to infection than those in the age group who received three shots of the vaccine.

A preliminary study published by Israel's Sheba medical centre last Monday found that the fourth shot increases antibodies to even higher levels than the third but "probably" not to the point that it could completely fend off the highly transmissible Omicron variant.

Israel began offering a fourth dose of the Pfizer/BioNtech vaccine to people over 60 earlier this month as Omicron swept the country.

The ministry said on Sunday the study it conducted with several major Israeli universities and the Sheba centre compared 400,000 people over 60 who received the second booster with 600,000 people in the age group who were given a third shot more than four months ago.

Why won't the Canadian Covid Care Alliance (CCCA) publish a list of its members and their professional credentials?

We appreciate that inquiring minds would like to see that there are people with real expertise behind the information on CCCA’s website. However–

We regret that the state of affairs, censorship of free speech, and rampant tyranny and coercion is such now in Canada that CCCA must protect the identity of its scientific, MD, academic and other health care professional (HCP) members. This serves to shield them from career-impacting reactions by their universities, professional colleges and healthcare system employers. Sadly, some of our MDs have had their medical licenses to practice suspended or restricted because they are not on board with the mainstream narrative. Likewise, some of our university professors have had their contracts terminated. These are dark times, and while we appreciate that some people want to know identities, frankly it would be hazardous to the careers of many of our members for us to reveal them.

While there are only 3 publicly identified directors of CCCA, it should be apparent from the quantity and quality of the work published on our website that our scientists, HCPs, ethicists, lawyers and other professionals in CCCA have broad and deep scientific, medical, and professional expertise. A representative listing of a number of these credentials of our more than 500 scientists, medical doctors and health care and other professional members are listed on our website. If people are willing to think critically, they will appreciate the quality of our work; if they are not, no amount of personal disclosures will convince them in this cancel culture era.

https://www.canadiancovidcarealliance.org/join-support-us/

The annual cost of membership is $50 and members receive access to CCCA scientists, doctors and documents, regular communications from CCCA, and invitations to regularly-held webinars. CCCA is a federally incorporated not for profit corporation and membership fees and donations are generally NOT income-tax deductible to individuals.

What is noteworthy to the disinterested observer is that Pfizer could presumably take the prominent critics (or the ones casting doubt on their  wares and the 'methodological shortcomings' of their pathway to Emergency Use Authorisation) to the cleaners in a court of Law were they able to demonstrate that their claims are patently false...

Well my whole family got covid.. Little bit cough, headache, other than that not big deal. Same as normal cold.

(Yeah, yeah.. I know we where "lucky" and it felt like simple cold.. Other people were not so lucky..) Same time i did not care about this whole pandemic anyways.

At least wont be needing regular vaccines anymore.. One plus from all this circus. xD

Some up to date data from the U.K. Denmark to remove all restrictions (ie back to normal, pandemic over) this coming Tuesday (4 days time).

How did treatment get politicized?

Just a few days ago CDC pulled the authorization from monoclonal antibodies. Even if you're on your deathbed, you can't get them.

It's sad to see that in 4 months not much has changed. All western countries still pretend that Hydroxychloroquine and Ivermectin don't exist. Still no western country is telling their population to supplement vitamin D in winter. No western country treats covid early.

USA

% of Population fully vaccinated      63.9%

Total Population                       334m

Total cases                     74,698,344

Total deaths                        902,196

Total cases per million       223,613

Deaths per million                   2,701

Total deaths/Total cases:  902,196/74,698,344 = 1.208%

Extrapolating 1.208% to the total population:
