Any thoughts about this 18xl/16x fast charger

Anything from Ali-Express needs to be considered with a potential for the unexpected.

However King Song make their own "faster" charger... It is 4.0A input and 2.5A output. So not quite as fast, but it is smaller and lighter and can be used with the standard charger without any concern whatsoever.

Ask your dealer for details...

Kingson offered me a 2.5a charger but opted out. Anyone bought or have experience with this charger? Any other 3a-5a chargers you guys can recommend other than ewheels? Thanks.

I'm sure @US69 Maybe able to help as he knows of a supplier of the 5amp charger and adaptor to use with it, it's the same as the speedyfeet 5amp fast charger

@Jason McNeil at ewheels.com have very nice 5A chargers. Regulated and with voltage/current display so you can monitor charging progress:

I have the 1-5A charger from 1radwerkstatt. 84v Gotway with the Lenovo adapter.
It is variable with 80/90/100% cutoff as well but it cuts off lower than 80/90. More like 70/80.

Thought the same, but I think the eWheels fast charger doesn't stop the charging completely at the end after balancing and stays in trickle charge mode!?

That's the reason that the 16X doesn't turn off completely when fully charged and you have to power cycle the wheel to power off completely. It's not a bug, it's a safety feature from King Song to protect the battery from overcharging. :efefa6edcf:

Unfortunately yes, but I'm sending the charger back to customize to get closer to real 80 and 90%.

With a little luck they might even have some in stock with a temperature controlled fan.
