  1. That's a great price! Especially in your situation/location. Get it before someone else does Also, electric unicycles don't really age. The motor doesn't age, 3000 miles is not much for the batteries. The only thing to look for is mechanical wear and tear (from crashes). So unless the wheel is obviously beat up badly, or bent and askew, it's more or less like new. Just make sure the batteries charge to full voltage (84V), which proves to you that the batteries are ok (the only big thing about a EUC that you can't immediately see is the battery state). Just charge the wheel to full (ask the seller to do that before you look at it) and connect an app (EUC World for Android, Darknessbot for Apple devices) to check the voltage (or have the seller make an app screenshot). If you need some more info about used wheels, check this (not too much more to know though):
  2. @dtwentyHi, we can't see your picture, you need to give permissions for it to be publicly visible. For more info if you need help posting a picture, see here:
  3. Some real life pictures from the Facebook group, posted by Andrew Letch (can't get a link to the source):
  4. Welcome to the forum! I split off your post from a 4 year old topic, you'll get better replies this way
  5. The S20 is the first wheel with serious clearance for all potential tires. No few mm like so many other wheels! We all know that's not happening
  6. Great you got this fixed, and it's no big issue! Don't be embarassed. You told us loose pedal nuts caused this, and I still don't see how they could have caused the crazy symptoms you had. So it's anything but obvious. And your info may help other people in the future.
  7. Is the mten3 new/under warranty? If yes, return it! My guess is a bad board or something funny mechanically that pressure on the pedals changes, but I can't really say what these crazy symptoms mean. I moved it into the Gotway forum and added to the title. You can edit your title, too (just edit the first post). Maybe someone will know what is going on with your wheel.
  8. If the battery charges to full voltage and doesn't show any unusual behavior (meaning now that it holds its charge), there really isn't any reason to worry. It was just a battery that apparently sat a while, but is now back to normal. Just don't charge unattended, and don't store in a place where a potential fire (not that you should expect one) would do too much damage. That's (unfortunately) common sense for every wheel, not just yours. (Again, the V10Fhas the very-good-safety-record 18650 type cells, no reason to expect a fire.)
  9. Yea, these prices are not cool. <2500 is "expensive but whatever", but more is substantial for me. If I pay >3000 for a wheel, I expect guaranteed part availability (ALL parts... board, any tiny screw, everything) for at least 5 years, and reassurement that any problem that comes up can be fixed. Not sure if any manufacturer can offer that. Though KS makes their own boards, so a least these should be no problem if they commit to providing long term support for their wheels.
  10. Any idea where your condition comes from? Did is just happen suddenly (or gradually)? I think this proves we need better "wheelchairs". No reason an electric wheelchair can't go as fast as a EUC, can be lighter, more suited for offroad, etc. Good enough to join a EUC group ride.
  11. I do hope they compete directly so the prices fall Not sure what other direction you could go with 18 inch + big battery + suspension other than the S20.
  12. What kind of wheel is that supposed to be? A S20-like bigger (battery) brother to the V11?
  13. Zero interest in Monster Pro and Abrams, as I really dislike big-diameter sluggish wheels. Hated the Monster whenever I tried it. Commander... I'm worried it's just a Sherman clone, and maybe not even better (no roll cage). Maybe the price will be really good and it will be an affordable range wheel? Hero is nice, but of course who needs it when there's the S20 And they're all too expensive. The <2500 price point of something like the V11 and V12 is much more agreeable to me than the even relatively cheap (but expensive in absolute terms) S20.
  14. The Hero isn't suddenly bad just because the S20 blows it out of the water. It's still going to be a great wheel - the RS HT was, and it's just one with suspension. I hope-expect they must change the ridiculous price. I'm also intrigued by the metal construction and the apparently new way to build in general, and looking forward to seeing more about that. Finally, it exists already, other than the for-now virtual S20. They'll send out batch 2 or 3 by the time the S20 is available.
  15. Next week: Gotway factory mysteriously burns down Wasn't there a similar video before where they showed some wheel being hosed down?
  16. Defamation is when you deliberately make a wrong (and negative) statement of fact. You can talk about sellers, good or bad. I just meant to say that the easiest way to judge a seller is to ask other people about their experiences, and that only works if you name the seller

  18. Name the retailer you are looking at, and people can say what they think or know about them.
  19. I don't believe you could permanently damage a EUC by holding a magnet onto it. Also, if you didn't do that, no reason to assume someone else did. What's more likely is a bad board, some loose screws making the board move against the rest (and thus causing crazy behavior because it thinks it is being tilted), some mechanical damage (e.g. t the pedal holders or the shell plastic), or you could try a fresh calibration. Can you upload a video of what exactly the symptoms are?
  20. You might get a nice used wheel for 500-600, but truth is, you can get a much nicer used wheel for 1000
  21. @Jack King SongYou did a fantastic job selling the S20 and the ideas behind it on the livestream!
  22. So far, no 4p wheel has had any problems where the battery turned out too weak. All the 1800Wh wheels are 4p, like the RS or V12, which are immensely powerful wheels. Nobody ever complained. And you can force a pedal dip from standstill even on a Sherman, so that's a firmware limitation and not the battery. The cutoff seems to be between 3p which isn't enough for "performance" needs (e.g. the S18 had some complaints), and 4p which has always worked so far. Additionally, the higher voltage means less current (20% less even compared to 100V) plus from that also less voltage drop. So if 4p worked for 84V and 100V, it's certainly going to work for 126V (<- still very impressed that KS are the first to do this). I have no worries. Of course only reality can tell if everything is one would expect.
