  1. EcoDrift disassembles the second batch V12. Only some tiny changes. There's some wire pinching at the axle in this one wheel, but otherwise looks neat.
  2. Jason, don't make any decisions in the next few days until you had time to process. Wishing you all the best!
  3. That's absolutely true, especially the mten3 bit! In the end, if people are having fun, everything is good. But I wonder how the world would look if FM was as "irresponsible" as the people at Gotway, pushing performance and dragging an entire (tiny but existing) industry with them. But I do that in every Onewheel thread so I'll stop now
  4. lol $210 for the "hypercharger" (aka bog standard charger with nothing special about it). I now know why they don't do something better, they don't have to! People are giving them money anyways.
  5. Eh they just switched the battery type. Nice, unless you compare to EUCs where these are lower end specs. That's before the price, ouch, you can get a V11 or V12 for that! 18p is 18*3.7V = 66.6V nominal and 18*4.2V = 75.6V max (charger). 2*18 cells * 3.7V nominal per cell * 5000mAh = 666Wh (assuming the highest capacity 21700s with 5000mAh). Better, but still meh. Why don't they just come out with something more competitive?
  6. I wonder if that sound might become very annoying very quickly. Unless you just don't hear it in the wind noise.
  7. This is good. You should do this regularly, it balances the cells (it levels tiny voltage differences between the individual battery cells). Balancing only happens near/at full battery with the current battery packs used in electric unicycles. Balancing prevents uneven wear on the cells, which would slightly lower the battery's life span or even cause failure if it gets extreme (really really unrealistically extreme). So you should do this like every 10 charge cycles or once a month or so (1 cycle = charging a total of 100%, like charging from 30% to 80% twice), it keeps your battery healthy. There's no such thing as overcharging, the battery stops the charging eventually. If it didn't, it would go up in flames, you would have noticed that - In general, people worry too much about their batteries and how to treat them. Don't worry, enjoy the ride - but balancing occasionally isn't bad either.
  8. This thread in the Private Sales forum offers a bit of info on used wheels. Not too much to look out for.
  9. Huh, that means that (probably) 2 battery casings form one pack. Oh well, they did that kind of split on the Sherman, so no problem. Really nice improvement in design quality! From Gotway-level foil pack to a nice plastic box.
  10. It's more or less a V2 with a bigger battery (1500Wh vs. 1020Wh) due to the changed battery type used. Certainly! I think so. It's compact.
  11. Oops, sorry, I thought this was a double post and didn't see your correction. You did post a second thread, it just was removed right away
  12. Do you mean a 126V version? If Begode/Gotway builds a 126V wheel, I expect it to be an 18 incher (successor in the RS/EX line). That's where they usually move fast and try things. The space for batteries in the Monster Pro is also built for 4 24-cell packs, whereas 126V would require 30-cell packs. So it would be awkward to make the Monster Pro a 126V wheel, they would probably make a (spiritual) successor where the shell is shaped for 30-cell packs from the start. This is pure speculation, they're unpredictable.
  13. Follow your instincts for questions like this. If you just somehow tend towards 16 inchers, go for a 16 incher! If one wheel appeals to you more than another, get it! And so on It sounded like you might think that the 16S has more range between the two of them. That's why I mentioned the two. Personally, I think the extra price for the V10F is worth it. The 16S isn't a bad wheel at all, but it is an old model, and crucially it's a 30kph model (tiltback at 35 so you'll always go like 32 max). That is usually just a few kph too low for people to be happy with. The V10F is a few kph faster. Mind that the max speed goes down with battery charge. Is a V10 (non-F) available to you? It also might be a good alternative. I believe they upgraded the battery size from 650Wh to 750Wh. Both are ok, but of course bigger is better, so check for that if this interests you.
  14. If you want to buy used, it can save you a lot of money or get you a lot more for your money. The V10F has 950Wh of battery, the 16S has 840Wh. So whatever range claims the manufacturers make, the V10F is going to have a little more range than a 16S. If the range of one doesn't satisfy you, ther range on the other won't either.
  15. This topic is to help people find a seller for their location. Outside of a few countries, it's not obvious where to buy an electric unicycle and what (good) sellers are available. So I thought it would be helpful if everyone posts where they got their ride! Format: Your location (preferably bold) - seller - which wheel(s) you bought (and when, if it wasn't recently) - possibly a comment whether you would buy again or not, or what else you want to add For example: USA - ewheels - Begode RS19 - great service! Germany - scooterhelden.de - Inmotion V11 - everything perfect so far, very fast shipping Thanks!
  16. Not sure what is going on with the formatting of your post...
  17. There should be plenty of sellers in Europe. Which ones are good, I have no idea either. Some examples who I think are reputable. https://eunicycles.eu https://eucsale.com/euc-transport/ See here for a bigger (but quite old) list: I would also google the wheel you like and see what comes up. I would strongly go with a seller (with their own website) over people on ebay etc.
  18. Now that's the level of model-to-model improvement we want to see!
  19. Can't the EUC World app do the registration?
  20. Good explanation. Looks like a forum error. Sorry for that, it showed as regular post when I looked.
