Firmware upgrade instructions: 1. Lay wheel flat on ground 2. Upgrade firmware using app 3. Place wheel upright and run horizontal calibration before riding 1.05 : 1. Less abrupt speed limiting pedal tilt 2. LED lights are now off while charging 3. Speed display in app improved 4. Three different riding modes fixed 5. Unlock top speed (50 kph) after 10 km 1.04 : 1. New System Framework. Reduced CPU usage by optimizing system efficiency 2. Improved Motor Control Algorithms. Improved stability during high speeds, accelerating, braking, and turning. Also, motor runs more quietly. 3. Optimized temperature control. More endurance when climbing hills. 4. ir_fuel Posted August 20, 2019 Share Posted August 20, 2019 Did some riding with 1.0.5 today. Conclusions: Wheel feels the same as before, stability/instability wise, so no changes there. Big difference is that now the medium riding mode can be used (I always rode in "experient"). Previously the wheel would wobble front to back when using that mode, now it works perfectly. I got mine Friday and have put 34 miles around Seattle on it already. My only complaints are the app so far and my achy feet/legs from learning to really ride a new wheel. I did do all the updates I listed in the 16x Issues thread the night I got it. I am coming from a V8 so this is a major upgrade for me.
