You‘d save some money but have no/limited warranty (is it shop or private seller?) and presumably no support... The worst thing to happen should imho be that you‘ll have to organize a new motherboard and/or have to do some tinkering? How is this price compared to a direct purchase from china? At $1,500, I don't know how it's possible. Our cost from the factory, a couple months ago, without any shipping, brokerage handling, was right around this price. Perhaps the seller is getting out of the business, liquidating their inventory...
Bob Eisenman
I read about the deal from a YouTube video post. I thought maybe the guy was in Southeast Asia or the Philippines but the eBay seller turned out to be based in LA. I thought maybe a new lower cost Monster had been entered into market but such is not the case. Maybe you could ask questions on his Ebay site.
Steve Persona
My friend bought one from this seller and it was a legit sale for 1499 shipping included, acm peddles , newer thin side pads , dont know how he sells for this price but I seen it with my own two eyes
Steven D Wheeler
I bought the $1499 Monster off Ebay last month. The sale was smooth and delivery was prompt. The Monster was perfect and is the 12 Mosfet version. I then bought a 800WH battery pack off Jason at Ewheels and the upgrade wiring. Now it is a 2400WH Monster and runs great! Got the whole thing done for $2100 and some elbow grease.
meepmeepmayer
Cool! (For nitpicking's sake, there was never a non-12-mosfet version of the Monster or any other 84V Gotway wheel, mosfet # is nothing to worry about, there have always been 12 now on any Gotway, 67.2V and 84V, for quite some time now)
