Ah no, you can't see what's going on round the other side; the right side pads are offset back slightly and that's the side where I am constantly locked into for braking. I don't know why I've gone for an asymmetric setup, but it suits how I naturally stand on the wheel.
Popular Post Robse
Short trip in the "Nørre forest", good paths, for once dry and not muddy. Riding under the Vejle fjord bridge, where you can take a break, enjoy the view and the noise of approx. 100,000 vehicles passing the bridge every single day. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vejle_Fjord_Bridge

Popular Post Robse
Night ride on the small Jutland country roads. The RS does its job well and smoothly Sorry for the slightly grainy picture, but it was taken approx. 2 hours after sunset, thus with shutter speed approx 1/6 second
Cerbera
A lovely example of how not to leash a 77 lb wheel to a tree ! 1
Popular Post Cerbera
Dropping into the skate park, near the end of a 27 km tour up the hills and valleys... I have now come to the conclusion that just 15 PSI in the tyre provides enough rim protection as long as you don't do any mental jumps or flights of stairs, and gives really nice, grippy, non-tippy balance and control. But just 10 PSI higher at 25 the tippyness is almost unmanageable and you are suddenly at the utter mercy of every small gust of wind. At 15 I can still get railed by powerful gusts, but the tippyness element is all but removed, which makes all the difference between an enjoyable / challenging wind ride and a proper nightmare of one ! Oh, and just wanna thank @Seba, who has made the EUCW tour pics and videos work again ! Edited April 23, 2023 by Cerbera

They've put a load of them all over the country park. I am guessing they are following some sort of solar distance relationship to teach the kids, which would explain why earth and Mars were virtually right next to each other, yet Neptune was up the top of the hill about 3 miles away ! Haven't yet found the others !

Haven't yet found the others ! If Neptune is about 3 miles away from Earth, then the distance between Earth and Mars must be 3 miles / 2853414353 miles (dist. Earth<>Neptune) * 86991966 miles (dist. Eart<>Mars) = 0,091 miles = 147 meters Extra: if Voyager1 were to be placed in this scala copy of our solar system, it would have to lie approx 16 miles away. ( it is 159 AU away from Earth, Neptune is 30 AU, so 159/30*3) Edited April 25, 2023 by Robse
Cerbera
I remember Roman Villas being a bit bigger than this in the documentaries... Seriously, it was this, and then nothing but woodland for miles !! Oh, and 1 straight(ish) road. Maybe that was theirs.
