I put Slime in to my inner tube when I got tired of refilling the tire with air every week. It cut down on the number of times I had to pump up the tire to about once every six to eight weeks. As far as the ride goes -- absolutely no difference. My inner tube has a pretty bad leak now, and I'm waiting for a replacement inner tube and tire to come on the slow boat from China, but I'm satisfied with the effectiveness of Slime. And I finally did it when @jrkline had a flat in his ACM and fixed the flat by pumping in some Slime (no tube change, etc.). I bought a bottle from Amazon and Slimed my KS14C, ACM, and MSuper. I put 4 ounces in the ACM and MSuper tubes and 3 ounces in the KS14C. I did this about 3 weeks ago and noticed zero change in handling, feel, etc. Seems like cheap insurance against a flat. Yes, the probability to have a flat tire decreases, to my reckoning by a relevant margin, and the time intervals for pumping to keep the tire pressure in the desired range increase. I got a snakebite last week when I foolishly filled my tire without using a pressure gauge. The slime did not work at first but then it started to. I put had put the slime in months ago. I used to constantly get nails and subsequently flat tires. Since using slime I rarely put air in my truck tires. Before I had to put air in at least once a week. Well goddamnit this morning I went for a strip mall ride (where you ride to a strip mall out in the boondocks on some flimsy pretense) and got a small screw (not nail) in the tire. Unscrewed it, the tip was green with slime, and gosh @Marty Backe is my hero because not only did I have the slime in the tire but also the Lezyne pump, the model Marty recommended, and some painful hundred pumps later (that's what she said) I was off. I guess I could have Ubered it, or done something, but slimeing with the tinniest pump makes me feel like a self-reliant he-man, courtesy of made in China goods and a global supply chain. I like manual pumps over CO2 and electric types just for reliability. mini bike pump electrical splitter (allows two wheels to charge on one power outlet) tire gauge (0-50 psi brass valve extension spare fuses for quick-charger spare tire valves valve stem tool Plus, of course, a sealant like Slime in the tires! And I've been easily doing 15 miles per day, every day. I'm counting five punctures (2 snakebites, 1 screw) so far on this one tire in the KS16, and two punctures (1 snakebite) on my Inmotion V5F. 1 snakebite = 2 punctures.
