However, I can only talk about the one on V14, because I have never ridden Lynx. Stock V14 suspension is based on a cheap MTB shock. Like with cheap mountain bikes, it would work well for the majority of the customers, including those who do jumps and drops, all because the spring is rather stiff. However, based on my previous experience with both cheap and expensive forks and shocks on bikes, I will confidently say there is a significant difference between them. It would be cool if Inmotion or Veteran, or any other EUC brand would offer Tier 1 brand suspension in stock or as an option. Before that happened, I would prefer the opportunity to upgrade. I've had a V11, a Master with custom linkage and Rock Shox shock, I have an S22 with Rock Shox Vivid R2C Shock, I've ridden the EX30 with stock shock, I have tried the V14 (my friend has one), I have a Sherman S and a Lynx and I had a Patton, I ride a lot of technical trails and I do some jumping, suspension is a very important factor to me and when I say that the Fastace shocks in the LeaperKim wheels are really really good it's not hyperbole, they feel great in all scenarios and the only thing that really even came close for me is the S22 after I made sure there is no stiction in the system but it's still not as good. They also require the least amount of maintenance out of all current suspension solutions. These things are why I'm saying that it's so good and that I do not understand or agree with voiced concerns that there would be some kind of quality issue when they are best in class really. I think you have to experience it and compare to understand. 48 minutes ago, mtl said: Any two wheels can be compared as long as they meet one's minimum needs. All features / capabilities beyond that are a bonus, open up new riding style possibilities, give future resale potential, etc. In the case of Lynx / V14, the Lynx is touted as an excellent "all-rounder", and the V14 can be bought with either street, off-road, or hybrid tire and a firmer or softer coil suspension. So there is overlap in their usages. But if your needs are on the extreme end of either torque or speed, then you probably wouldn't be comparing these two wheels against each other. In that case you may be comparing V14 vs. Patton, or Lynx vs ET Max. And similarly for other key differences such as range or rim size. You can put any tire you want on these wheels, no wheel is made for street or off-road it's the rider that has a use case and unlocks potential, both V14 and Lynx can do everything. 1
CasperBak
Suspension break-in I spend a few hours at a pump-track today and from around mid-way through it made a kinda pop sound as it rebounds after a jump - like all other suspension wheel I have tried do all the time and it now does this every time. From then on the suspension felt much softer - not like and air shock, but more S22 like. Have any of you had a similar suspension break-in experience? Btw, it was fantastic for the BMX tracks, at least compared to the S18 and EX30 I have tried previously.
jmsjms
At what speed the V-14 starts beeping, and can it be controlled through the app?

Btw, jz tested riding V14 with only 3 battery packs, it works, but with a warning indicator on V14 and also a warning msg in app. When fully charged to 100%, removing 1 battery pack connection, the screen on V14 will show 75% left. Maybe beneficial for those who have special requirement to reduce weight. Screenshots, photos and weight saving calculation in another V14 riders thread. 1
Unventor
3 hours ago, jmsjms said: At what speed the V-14 starts beeping, and can it be controlled through the app? I currently have alarm sat to 45kmh and tilt back at 50kmh. This works very well for me. But depending how aggressive you approach top speed it might give you a warning in advance.
jmsjms
Can the beep be set to 60kmh, and the tilt-back to 70kmh?
Kmil
5 hours ago, jmsjms said: Can the beep be set to 60kmh, and the tilt-back to 70kmh? yes, any speed, up to 70kmph. In fact, you could set tilt-back to 60kmph and beep alarm to 70kmph, which the beep will likely never trigger under normal circumstances. I think so, though I did wonder about noisy bearings when I first heard it... Knobby tyres do make a LOT more sound than street tyres overall I would say. jmsjms
Which V-14 sellers sell a street tire option for the V-14? And I am not talking about the one that is a blend of street and off road, but only street. (Same as the V-11 -- street only.) Wrong Way even said, that the knobby one is not particularly stable at maintaining a straight line. Edited April 12 by jmsjms

jmsjms
The one pictured above looks like a blend between street and off-road tire.
