I recently purchased "fangs" for my Pass Pro on Etsy from AnimalPKg2W. The seller, John, is very pleasant and courteous. Previously, I was using a short snippet of automotive door edge guard but the spacing wasn't right. The fangs are inexpensive and work well at venting the face shield just enough to reduce fogging without letting in too much cold air. In my experience, fogging can be an issue until you take active measures to mitigate it. The fangs look cool, too! Check out this topic about the issue: Edited January 22, 2023 by litewave 1
Hellkitten
I stuck a small piece of the adhesive fuzzy side of Velcro to the lip of my TSG visor.
Cerbera
I like the fangs, but don't get why they are necessary. Does your TSG not just stay up on its own in that position ? Mine does ! But I suppose it is nice that you can slam it down, and it doesn't go all the way... Edited January 22, 2023 by Cerbera

Josiah
He almost went under. Good carving kept him just out from under the tires. Still he looked a little hurt. Without the pads could have slid less and gone under. The driver raises his hands like what… what…. What’s the bid deal. Had the volume off last night but now I hear it. At least he was saying I’m sorry. Edited January 22, 2023 by Josiah

I commute in the city and have run into this situation alot.. Most of the drivers turning or merging right (depending which country it may be on the left) does not anticipate an e-wheel going at the same speed as them and think that they would have time to turn right before the rider catches up. That's when the driver turns and the rider doesn't anticipate. And this can happen so fast that it would be too late to maneuver. For this reason I now wear highly visible clothing with lighting and reflectors. Getting the driver's attention is key. I wish I have a pic of myself to show you. I'll try and get one for you guys. What I noticed in this video is that the rider was in the right but was wearing dark clothing and probably blended in with the environment and wasn't visible when the driver turned. I also have a lightsaber I out with a holster on the hip for directional visibility or just to get the driver's attention. I cut the saber so it's not too long.. https://a.co/d/0UWQO8d Edited January 22, 2023 by Impoy47

How about avoiding hanging out in someone’s Blindspot as well. The light saber sounds really cool but the link you have up there seems to be broken. Popular Post Funky
Rule number one for EUC riders.. Or any type of rider aside of a car driver. You need to ride - like you are invisible for others!!! Expect that no car driver can see you.. You need to think that all car drivers are blind! They don't see you!!! If you drill that into your mind. You will be ready and be prepared in future! Same as those videos, driver turning right without looking.. Euc rider needed to be ready for that. Jesus how hard is to remember that.. Even if you have pink ass monkey costume. Or white stormtrooper costume on. Some drivers won't see you even then!!! You need to look out for trouble.. Also he had wide, empty sidewalk - right next to him.. I know were i would be riding. Edited January 22, 2023 by Funky 1 1
Popular Post Impoy47
Looks like he had to time to slow down and anticipate the truck turning right, even though it didn't have its blinkers on. Again, we have to anticipate dangers like this. The YTuber also was behind the truck and he tried to overtake him at an intersection!! Bad move. That might be what he's trying to avoid. I have an original carbon-fiber Pass Pro. My faceshield won't stay open at less than 1.25", obstructing visibility and letting in too much cold air. It's more or less an all-or-nothing deal without the fangs or other spacers: all the way open or all the way closed. The fangs have near-perfect spacing and look much better than any hack I came up with. For $8 plus shipping, they are a deal imho even if one already owns a 3D printer. They don't fall off but can be removed easily if desired. I bet the dog would enjoy some running. You could even ride in shop. If old folks can ride their "Mobility scooters" indoors - why can't you? Get a doctor note and be happy. Jk. My daily job rides are one of those, where i don't need to ride "fast". I leave house 10 mins faster and enjoy slowish ride to job. Only gear i never leave my house without is wristguards. Doh my city isn't busy and most paths are empty.. Same time i have put rule for myself. If i'm not wearing helmet - i don't go over 20km/h. So i'm not really worried about crashing. Only if wheel stops working - and i'm okay with that. Everyone can choose what they wanna wear. But same time need to take into mind consequences. Calling one a idiot for not wearing "gear" is kinda mean. Maybe he wanted to crash? You never know that. Maybe he wanted to get life insurance. Or something like that, who knows. At least now maybe he has learned a lesson. Edited January 25, 2023 by Funky

I'll always wear my CE-certified roost protector, elbow guards, knee braces, wrist guards, motorcycle helmet, and textile outer layers so this doesn't happen to me Remember your safety gear doesn't guarantee you anything. Especially with the back and shoulders. Even with all our gear (i wear it too) it won't help much with shoulder injuries. When we hit the ground our hands take the force, travels through the arm (may break) and ultimately to the shoulder (may break) , our wrist guards take some of the force or helps transmit it from the wrist/hands to the arm/shoulders. Many back injuries are compression fractures caused by whiplash rather than blunt force and sliding that our back protectors help with most. Helmets help reduce concussion but doesn't stop it, great at stopping you lose your face in a slide but does nothing if you become decapitated round a sign post. At the speeds we are now reaching It really is the luck of the draw if you walk away unscathed, dead or somewhere in between. You will notice more and more my posts highlight safety. I am very concerned at the speeds we now reach and the lack of training and awareness new riders may have. As always ride safe everyone. https://sjtrem.biomedcentral.com/articles/10.1186/s13049-016-0307-3
