  1. Yes. I have a new headlight assembly to install, or just throw it in the box if someone wants the MSX as-is and is willing to do the work on it.
  2. Yes that is exactly right. Assuming you bought the wheel from them and you wish to ship it somewhere, you tell them the shipping address, phone number, email address and name. They then tell you how much such a shipping label will cost, you paypal them some money and they email you a printable shipping label. It's super easy and convenient. This might even work for shipping a wheel to and from a vacation spot, though I'm not sure about that
  3. 14D sold to @Seahorse_Dimples for $500 plus $39 for eWheels-provided shipping label.
  4. I need to sell my wheels. I'm in the Denver metro area. I will include 3d printed stands for both wheels (wheels are on these stands in the photos). I have original boxes from eWheels. Standard chargers for both wheels. Prices will be in addition to shipping if not local. I'll get shipping labels from eWheels. Both wheels still have the one year warranty from their purchase dates. KS-14D (420wh): $500. 167 miles on the wheel. Purchased January 2020 from eWheels. 84 MSX (1600wh): $800. 267 miles on the wheel. Purchased March 2020 from eWheels. Will include seat and self-standing fender. The 14D has the usual scratches from learning. Very scratched pedals. Has baby bumpers and neoprene kuji pads. Some abrasion to the shell and handle from a faceplant. The MSX also has the usual scratches and has been crashed (at 25 MPH). Has baby bumpers on it. It is missing its headlight and the shell screw standoffs are broken. It has a few scratches as well. Selling as-is. Crash details below. Photos: KS-14D MSX About the MSX crash: I faceplanted at 25 MPH. I was wearing a Joe Rocket Phoenix Ion Summit mesh jacket, Leatt Dual Axis knee guards, LS2 Pioneer helmet, Demon Flexmeter double-sided D3O wrist guards. I was not wearing motorcycle boots, and should have been. The rest of the gear did its job perfectly, though lack of ankle protection means I sprained my ankle and damaged some tendons in my leg. I was on crutches for a week and in a boot for 2 weeks. As far as the cause of the crash, I do not know what happened. I thought I may have hit a bump or something. Returned to the scene about 2 weeks later when I could drive again, and it was a perfect bicycle lane. Machine malfunction cannot be ruled out. Would probably be fairly easy to repair and make a great spare/project/beater wheel, just GEAR UP and BE CAREFUL. I think riding around cars is just plain irresponsible now. I am lucky the wheel harmlessly flew off the road into the grass and not into a car or pedestrian! Probably not the best story to sell a wheel... But full disclosure is always best. As far as the 14D goes, it's just no fun to me after riding the MSX. Plus, I cannot be trusted on EUC's. I'd rather just quit while I'm ahead. If anyone wants any more photos, I'm happy to share. Shipping update: eWheels requires name, email, phone number and shipping address in order to quote and generate shipping labels. SOLD: The 14D shipped from Colorado to NYC for $39. I left the wheel with Fedex at 5pm on Friday. The buyer, @Seahorse_Dimples, received the wheel Monday at 10 AM. That's awesome... eWheels shipping is fantastic! MSX update: I ordered the headlight parts from eWheels. Missing headlight seems to be a sticking point, so I'm going to repair (or replace, if it comes to that) the shell and reinstall the headlight and then re-list. Probably for a higher price since I will have done the labor and bought the parts I was discounting for. SOLD: MSX sold to @Bao Nguyen as-is for $835.
  5. Hah. I don't know if I have it in me, but in the interest of science I'll probably try it eventually. I tried riding my 14D the other day after being accustomed to the MSX. Almost immediately I hit the speed limit and get tilted back. At least the tilt back on that wheel works now. Ever since my 14D tilt back malfunction crash I have been very wary/scared of tiltback. Another reason I got the MSX, so I could turn it off. I know some people say tiltback works by accelerating to bring the wheel in front of you, and there is evidence to support that, since if you pick up the wheel and exceed the max speed it will speed up even more before shutting off. But my gyro issues on the 14D also make it seem like it may be more than just raw acceleration, the gyro seems to also actively make the pedals tilt back also.
  6. Oh by the way, if tilt back is disabled on the MSX will it still do it in response to a low battery condition?
  7. Thanks for the info! The wheel when fully charged does show 84V. I think 84.3V to be exact. I've not tested my charger with a multimeter but since the wheel reports 84V I think it's fine. I have left it charging overnight so the green light has been on for at least 2 hours. I just did not think it was necessary to charge it after the 2 short trips I made the day before. The temperature yesterday was in the mid 70's so I thought it would be ideal for range. I do not think there were many, if any, notable inclines around here. I did increase the tire pressure in an attempt at better range. It's now somewhere around 38 PSI. I have slimed the tire. The fan was running when I turned the wheel off. My stance is something I had not considered, and might need improvement. Rather than lean to accelerate, which I do a little, I try to instead shift my weight toward the front of the pedals. I tend to stay up on my toes with knees bent, this helps absorb bumps. The center of my foot is just about in the center of the pedal, if not a little forward. I ride in hard mode because otherwise my pedals dip in hard turns and this is unsettling. I have not calibrated the gyro, maybe I should. I'll let the wheel tell me when it's had enough then, instead of focusing so intently on the EUC world battery level. If there are 20 cells in the MSX, then 72V would mean ~3.6V in each cell, which is still quite a bit if Gotway lets each cell go down to 3.0V (is this correct?). The EUC World WearOS app does not show voltage like it does on the phone so I have not seen what it reports under load. Battery level averaging sounds like it might report a more accurate battery level, or at least less wildly fluctuating as I ride.
  8. I ride an 84V 1600wh MSX. Yesterday I went on my longest ride. 24.5 miles. I started with 90% (had one or two 3 mile trips on it already), once EUC world started reporting singe digit battery levels under load, I returned home. After settling for a few minutes EUC world reports 29% and somewhere in the neighborhood of 72V. It seems like the wheel should not be ridden any further without charging since if the battery level hits 0% under load, it's all over, right? Would enabling the EUC world battery level averaging feature be a safer bet? I'm feel that I am getting pretty poor range compared to others. I don't accelerate hard (IMO) and I don't even ride that fast. I have my EUC world alarm set at 25mph and I try to keep it right around there. Sometimes I overshoot it and have to slow down, it's pretty easy to do on the MSX. I weight 175 lbs + gear. So maybe 185lbs max on the wheel. Thanks!
  9. Wow I didn't know such a a thing existed, that's awesome! That would be so much easier than using Android's built in Bluetooth log, hah. The logfile method was TEDIOUS to say the least.
  10. I reverse engineered the Sphero mini (robotic ball toy) BLE protocol. At least enough of it to be able to control the RGB LED and send motor commands so that I could control it with a gamepad via my own android app instead of the official Sphero app. Android devices allow you to capture bluetooth traffic which you can then inspect in a packet analyzer. Basically, I sent the same command over and over again in the Sphero app, pulled the logs off the phone, opened them up in Wireshark and tried to find similar packets or groups of packets. It really comes down to pattern recognition. After a week or so, I could control every part of the device that I wanted to. I had to also reverse engineer a checksum byte that was part of each packet or the device would reject the command. That part was the hardest. Anyway, some of this MIGHT be how @Seba works his magic. I would personally not be brave enough to try doing this stuff with an EUC though!
  11. Vapor is way too slow for general purpose device (it is several years old and WearOS advances, but hardware stays the same) but as a dedicated EUC world device it's totally fine. I wear a Fitbit ionic as a watch and only strap the vapor to my flexmeters when I ride. It sits on my desk at all other times.
  12. There was a reported solution to this a few pages back. In Google TTS options, disable/enable (can't remember which) number processing.
  13. Yes it took me a while to figure this out too. This is my first WearOS device.
  14. Good point. I just looked it up. Sounds like if he does add Google play payments I'll have to add 30% to cover the fee So much more convenient to do it as part of my other app subscriptions though.
  15. @Seba, any plans to integrate Google Play subscription or in-app purchases to become a premium user?
  16. Is that the Chao Yang H-666 tire? Man, that is beautiful.
  17. Looking forward to this showing up on your thingiverse designs! The day after I stuck baby bumpers all over my MSX you show up with your amazing TPU bumpers... I need to get some black TPU so I can print them but they look fantastic!
  18. This isn't really a solution and I don't know if you use gmail, but Gmail has a neat trick you can do. If your email is ks16x4ever@gmail.com, you can use ks16x4ever+eucworld@gmail.com. this will probably count as a new email on EUC world servers but you can still get the email. I use this for spam protection measures. That way I can block emails sent to a particular address if I need to, and it helps trace data breaches too!
  19. Cool I saw the vapor 2 dropped in price dramatically, I would have gone with that just because it's newer and supports google pay. How cool would it be to not have to take my wrist guards off to get my wallet when paying for stuff in stores when one hand is already trolleying the wheel? Very cool! Alas, I have the original vapor and it works just fine so there is no justifying the vapor 2 for me. Awesome! I bought my vapor when it was on sale for $50 for the watch case only. I thought I was being clever and saving money since I didn't need the band but it didn't even come with a charger so I had to buy that separately. The current sale; $48.99 for the watch, band, and charger is a killer deal. As a WearOS watch for all day wear I'm sure it's not great. But as a dedicated EUC World device it's a champion.
  20. Not a huge deal but it would be nice if it was easier. I assume it's the same for all WearOS devices. May be an easier way, but I navigate to settings and select power off. So, one swipe down, tap settings > system > power off. So 5 or 6 interactions. Holding the power button just reboots the device.
  21. I love my vapor. I had some issue with it at first but it seems solid now. I use it only for EUC world. I have a fitbit underneath my wrist guards for heart rate and the vapor strapped to the wrist guard. for $50 I don't think you can do better. Maybe an original pebble if you value battery life. I know the vapor's battery life will long outlive the battery on my 1600wh MSX so I don't care that it doesn't last for days. Something that stays on for a few hours is all I need. I've had no issues with sunlight. IMO, EUC World on WearOS is fantastic.
